Looking to upgrade the Alley Vipers guns, anyone know where I can get more realistic looking AV weapons?
What luck! Ran into Walmart to grab Zyrtec and found new GI Joes! I saw 2 Gung Ho’s and thought I missed them but I found them out in the action alley. Looked like someone thought they were going to get them but decided to just leave them somewhere randomly. there was a second Alley Viper but I don’t do Army Building anymore.
Starting a journey. ……help me, Hasbro, put out new vintage style Joes before I send myself to the poor house! That being said Recoil wasn’t to expensive to get complete and in great condition. Most likely because he’s from the years between the cartoon series and not a favorite of most collectors.
Rewatched Resolute on YouTube, and I gotta say there's a lot of characters I wouldn't mind seeing in the Classified line. And a Classified scale Resolute Hiss Tank would definitely get my support
Yeah, Resolute is awesome and would definitely lend itself to the classified line. Very underrated segment of the Joe lore IMO. I loved the 25th figures, that Stalker and Roadblock were 2 of my favorite figures across the whole line.
Personally, I hope for a Crimson Strike version of Baroness, I think the Classified mold would look amazing in red, black and silver
Paid the Evil-Bay early tax (and then of course it popped up on Hasbro Pulse for retail, the next day. Lol…oh well). At any rate, it’s an awesome figure! Exceeded my expectations for a Classified version of the B.A.T.!
It’s good but there’s a couple “we’re Mature Now” moments that can seem a little try hard. personal opinion.
The way Duke talked Scarlett in that one scene where he made her pick who she was going to go with felt like that to me. Really edgy dialogue that made him come off like a dick lol. I did love Resolute, but that scene always felt so edgy and forced to me.
In the last two days I've managed to find Roadblock (01) and Scarlet (05) in the wild and I'm solidly hooked now. These figures have a presence the movie figures seem to lack for some reason. So that brings my non movie classified count to a total of... four, vs the four out of five movie classified figures and I'm more impressed right now with the main line. Must... have... moar!
I don't have everybody in front of me, at the moment, but I believe the Officer and Storm Shadow have new POA's: forearm swivels.
There are quite a few in stock or available for preorder at various online retailers, depending on what you’re looking for. I never really thought I’d be a Joe collector myself, but these are too good to pass up, IMO. I loved watching the 80s cartoon, and most of these feel like modernized realistic versions of those characters…or at least close enough. Plus, I think they are the best 6” action figures Hasbro have ever produced. There’s not a single one I’m not happy with.
So do these have shoulder and pelvis articulation? And can turn their heads? For 6" figures they look pretty good for $4.99.
I’d love that baroness in a more articulated form, even as is it would look good besides a couple troopers
Hasbro is trying to reach boys ages 4-8 with this line. We should support the effort and buy some for your young kids, grandkids, and nephews.
