Yeah, I was really hoping for maybe the Wolverine or something but a repaint of the Hiss? Come on.

 

That has to go down in history as the world's laziest repaint. I mean come on, the flipping box is the same except for the "II" lettering.

 

Someone on Facebook swapped out Baroness' head for Spider-Woman’s head and Moira Mactaggart's glasses…not bad? The glasses kind of bug me though.

 

I agree. That was a pretty great looking update to the character!

Interesting. The story with the redesigned Quick Kick sounds interesting, even if I’m not crazy about the redesign of the character’s appearance.

Agreed. Definitely a visual medium. Great looking, dynamic art is always optimal. I can still enjoy a story that’s really good, even if the art isn’t great, but I would obviously prefer that both the artwork and the story be good.

That one was good, it salvaged the Resolute Storm Shadow mold(which wasn’t great as Resolute Storm Shadow ironically). If you didn’t like the look, you could make it closer to the ARAH look by just taking the shirt off. Kind of reminded me of Chong Li from Bloodsport that way only somehow having joined the Joe team in a Cobra Kai get up.

Given that the POC line had some designs inspired by other 80’s movies like Predator, it’s not too far of a stretch.

 

I bought a 3D printed 50 cal for Roadblock. It was only available in white so I need to paint it. I plan to use Tamiya model paint. What's the best topcoat to use on it so the paint doesn't flake off?

 

That looks great! Reminds me a lot of how she looked in the cartoon. As far as the face, anyway.

Ha! Nice! I guess they did a good job, because that's exactly the vibe I was getting from it. It looks like a good scale. Now if we can just work some other properties into 6" scale like Brad Turner on Condor (M.A.S.K.) we can get a nice race setting going.   Maybe throw in an Arcee for Lady Jaye or something?

 

Yeah, I think if they had sculpted the shirt on the figure so that it looked like the artwork on the cardback, instead of making the shirt a separate piece, it probably would have looked better.

 

Grabbed all 3, today. The store had a full case: 3x SE, 2x SS, and 1 Baroness.
