@Ambrojh has a valid point. Presumably, Marketing runs the "Fans First" and Hasbro's social media. It's their responsibility to report to the rest of the company that there's a serious problem with the rollout of the line. They, in conjunction with the department that manages distribution, would then be the ones tasked with investigating the problem. Once they determine the cause, it's up to Hasbro to lean on Target and convince them to get their act together. The fact that this hasn't happened lays responsibility at Hasbro's feet alongside Target. And we know Hasbro IS aware of things because there was a clear response to the infamous early Bludd offering on EBay.
Yeah that’s new. Holy shit. I’ve been ignoring these because they’ve largely been reissues of the 25th line, which I have most of. That Stalker looks completely new! Argh! And my Walmart’s suck around here. I’ll never find it.
Yup. And that doesn’t look like the POC Snake Eyes or Cobra Trooper torsos either. I have no interest in this line but it’s great to see Hasbro investing in it.
They are pretty cheap so if I see them they’re purchased. However I cannot decipher Walmart’s sales strategy in my town, the entire action figure isle is empty every time I go. I always heard their business model was all about the importance of shelf-space but it’s literally barren. It must be 30’ of empty shelves. I was in there and asked a kid-worker if he had any Pokémon stuff for my kid and he laughed and pointed to an empty shelf.
Oh that was the stalker i had too. I was only 3 when it first came out in 82. 4 for the 2nd series release and my brother didnt get anything until snowjob and the dragonfly.
My Walmarts have looked like that since before Christmas. I've found a couple Kingdom figures there, got an Inferno and a Huffer. I found Retro wave 2 once and picked up Scarlett for my brother. I don't even waste my time with Walmart anymore. It seems the only thing that occasionally gets stocked are those 4 inch DC figures and that's it.
Not entirely. It was on the 2002 Firefly, later, then later on the Amazon Renegades 4 pack ninjas(1st time used on the modern Joe molds) and most recently on the Walmart retro FANG pilot. Probably designed for the abandoned concepts of the line that was in the works between 2015-2017 before Mark Weber was let go. They’re aware but there’s always been a wide disconnect. Don’t expect much out of marketing because you’re almost always either going to get a generic response or the impression that what you’re noticing is entirely different from what they’re seeing. It’s been a known thing, this was something told to me by someone who’s met and dealt with them directly years back. You know the Cobra portion of Major Bludd will sell, their algorithm probably says a movie Duke figure will do better. Yea this is the one(on the left) they should’ve used: Not sure why they didn’t since the tooling is newer than the one they did use!
Still a rough draft, but I finally got my Joe’s into the case. There are still a few I need to free from the cardboard and plastic prison cells and I need some risers and what not.
Which is hilarious, I'm not a motu collector thank goodness, even though I did watch the og toon when I was kid and thought it was cool. But it's hilarious that's all I ever see is he man and skeletor... And that above is so true ^^^. Looking forward to the new figures but not to them being target exclusives sigh...
Sorry to report that, while I finally saw a Joe figure (CC) on Target shelves today, they didn't have any of Major Bludd. Really tired of the Buzzworthy Bumblebee repacks.
Cobra Commander. I know everybody else got their's months ago but first I've seen it. Didn't buy it though because I got mine from BBTS months ago.
