At some point, given the volume of money being asked for what amounts to a $25 figure when sold in retail in a week or two, one has to wonder if the buyer and seller could be known to one another and what we may be witnessing could potentially be quite simply Money Laundering, hidden in plain sight.
I doubt it's anything other than just people fucking with them on Ebay. Given that Cobra Island has given everyone a sour taste for the line, I'm not surprised if it is that we see the latest gut punch from Hasbro that some people decided they were gonna troll this listing.
100% the seller is getting jerked around. I could see the figure sell for maybe $200-$300 but not more, really. Potential buyers must know as well as we do here that this figure is right around the corner.
I’ll be surprised if there’s no hanky panky involved. If the current price was $100-200 (for a regular figure - store exclusive or not), that I can believe. Anything over $300 for such a figure is utterly BS! LOL!
This bidding on Major Bludd reminds me of the Carbonized Din battle between two buyers on Fleabay when it was on. The bid was up to $18k USD and then closed with no possible winner. That $18k USD can actually pay off a mortgage on a house, or some expenses that need to be paid off (a donation to a hospital, a present research grant, a plot of land for a gravesite for your loved one and a lavish wake to follow). Now over $16.2k USD... Pure Utter BS!!
I refuse to believe that the Target employee who got this off the back of the truck isn't being fucked with hard right now. There's no way anyone in their right head would pay 16k for a figure that will start showing up soon at retail. There's no way.
Okay, ymmv depending on various factors, but should be showing up at retail. Hoping this is the first CI figure with a larger order. Especially since we only recently learned about it.

I'm pretty sure that's his missile gun/rocket launcher. Assuming the end of the barrel has a port, the missiles seem to have peg to plug in.

Don't hold me to this, but i read somewhere (Joe group on FB) actual release date is the 27th not the 20th. Gamestop has been good with getting these out so i wouldn't worry yet.
Curious. Bid for Bludd dropped to just $10,400. The number of bidders dropped as well. I wonder if this is people deciding they've had their fun, or if this is Ebay weeding out blatantly bs buyers(and if so, why they haven't booted ALL of them...).
Probably because the other bidders are all fake accounts of the seller and they're trying to figure that out.
A bunch of $30K bids retracted and some cancelled. They are all bidders with at least a couple of hundred feedback and don’t seem like shill accounts from the seller.
