"Hardee's" is apparently a portmanteau of "Hard Arteries."

Though, that sandwich does look tasty. I'm fat pigdog american enough to try it at least once.

Like so many things, it's not the burger that's going to clog arteries so much as it is the self destructive impulses of those who will eat it too often. This kind of indulgence is fine once every couple of weeks or so, as long as the rest of one's meals are healthy and you get adequate exercise.

^^This. Nothing like eating a sandwich that forces you to unbuckle your belt after eating it.

really, when the "beefiest" Hardee's/Carl Jr.'s is #11 on a top 40 list, i think i can belly up to the counter and eat a foot long burger that has less than 1,000 calories.
now that burger from Chili's...damn. Heartburn and a clogged artery, now that is manly.

*sigh* Although the idea is tempting, I would have to pass on this like Sonic's cheddar jalapeno burger and the KFC Double Down, just too excessive in my views.

Although my diet's not been so healthy lately I still can't imagine myself eating one of these things. That's something I'll have to cut into smaller pieces and eat them over several meals. Can't say I admire those who can wolf it down with fries and coke, but you definitely need a big appetite for it.

Has no one ever had a hamburger sub before? I've eaten several back when I was fat.
