Possibly because it's on hiatus between seasons?
First look at Despero, The main villain in Armageddon.
Are they gonna cgi him? Cause that looks nothing like him
I haven't watched this show in several months. I lost interest when they made the Speed Force a whiny, needy, mischievous character that followed Barry around like a lost puppy while causing problems for the team.
This show used to be fun and I looked forward to it, but now it's a slog just to get through an episode. I have this show taking up countless hours on my DVR and have been debating on trudging through it to catch up or throwing in the towel, deleting it and waiting for the latest season's release on Netflix.
I only watch the crossovers now, it's the only part where they kind of try. But they have been getting worse each crossover.
YEP! Totally agree, and that's what sucks about this show is that it used to be so excellent, but now it's just an absolute slog.
I'm sure the actor's fine, but c'mon. Despero is known for being purple, a head-fin, and that third eyeball, and we couldn't get any of those three? Not even one?
All of these shows have been garbage for a while now; Supergirl, Flash, Legends, even the last couple of seasons of Arrow.
He has black nail polish though!
It does make me wonder what DC shows have against body paint lately since "Titans". Yeah, it's probably a pain in the ass to do every shoot and factors into the budget, but for as much as these actors probably get paid (which I know isn't movie star money, but a steady TV gig is probably at least Burbank comfortable), I expect them to take it.
Well, I'm not going to harp on it, but after my whole teenage-hood watching the 90's era of Star Trek and reading about their early prep hours, I do have some expectations.
My guess is he'll morph into the more traditional look for battle.
Official trailer for season 8, surprisingly not shown at DC FanDome:
So does this cross over event flow into other shows like they all did previously? Like do I have to sit through an episode of say Batwoman to watch the full event, or is it all contained on the flash?
It's contained to Flash
The Flash and Riverdale Get New Nights in The CW Midseason Schedule
After The Flash runs the five-episode "Armageddon" event from 16 November to 14 December 2021, the series will break until 9 March 2022.
Nothing beats killing the momentum of a season like a 3 montth break when not even half over.
These shows are so bad now that I don't think anything can hurt them at this point.
Nice preview clip:
I got bored halfway through watching that and stopped watching. I thought there would be some kind of superhero scene, Started clicking through it at random and didn't see one in costume scene or even one bad guy scene. Yeah no desire to watch it based on that preview.
It's literally 1 single scene that takes 2 minutes. It's not a trailer.
