Shellbackpackformer? Eh, too many syllables. Shellbackformer? Crabformer? Yes, crabformer! That's the new term.

It certainly appears to scratch someone's itch.

Although honestly given the controversy over this stupid thing, the term should be clamformer.

I call it a "figformer" in reference how it reminds me of figma figures that just so happens to also transform

....might get mixed up with fig Newton's, though..

...some shellformers are shelfwarmers, and some shelfwarmers are shellformers, but few former shelfwarmers are shellformers, for we're forewarned of their shells...

Cool. Looks like a nice figure.
Well see I don’t say shellformer cause she still needs a fair amount of her robot mode for vehicle mode unlike figures like AoE Prime and most one step changers just have robots hidden inside. While arcee makes up a good portion of the bottom of the car. Kinda like most Aerialbot toys but more involved. So that’s why I don’t think it’s quite a shellformer.

Honestly for some time I've wanted to see someone take the approach of building a Transformer as a premium figure first, then working the transformation around that. While still delivering an actual alt mode and not just a humanoid robot doing yoga. Which is definitely a big part of why I'm interested in this figure. Otherwise the closest I think I've seen are MakeToys' Cross Dimension Striker Manus and Rioter Despotron.

Also totally off topic, but I've preferred winged characters with the wings rooted around the lower back/waist ever since I first saw that style.

Nipples on Fembots usually contain machine guns according to Austin Powers Movies.

If Blackarachnia TM2 is anything to go by then Cybertronian fembots in inny nipples by default - Perhaps they are auxillary data download and storage devices like Robocop's wrist spike - they have the cybertronian equivellent of 2 hard drives mounted on their chest with handy access ports on the front face..

See no salacious at all now it's all about good data handling and being fully functional for the tasks at hand so you can be a treasure to those around you.

From a physics stand point it offers a better balancing point than wings mounted more traditionally.

Yes, we're very much aware. There's two or three pages worth of going over the alternate parts and accessories.
There's just no pictures posted because the mods have specifically said not to post pictures.

That's why if you go back over previous posts you'll see links to the projects Weibo page.

Redundancy is fine, we're just going out of our way to avoid getting the thread sanctioned by the mods, seeing as how it's already happened at least twice, including a lock.

Look at you being all responsible and holding back the tide. I say it jokingly but it is appreciated - we can get out of hand sometimes, so thanks for bringing us back down.

Sure, that's fine and dandy, but what if they team up with the nefarious Captain Neckbeard, Net-Troll and Godwin Lore?

    WHAT THEN?
