Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage do a fusion dance, then that being does a second dance with Zangief. (Don't get me wrong, Antonov was one of my favorite parts of XIV).

 

I recently got back into SFV, and I’m not going to pretend I’m some fighting game expert, but does it seem like SFV has a much higher emphasis on timing-based chain combos than any other SF game? That is, like the ones where you can, for example, do a medium punch and combo a hard kick after it if you have frame-perfect timing.

GOD I hate combos like that. Buffering a string of moves together, I can do that (sometimes). Consistently doing picture perfect timing is not my thing.

 

I think it started with IV remembering their more advanced training mode lessons that were all about doing quick combos with unforgiving timing (which V has too).

While we're talking about new characters, let's not forget that Guilty Gear STRIVE is still beginning their Season Pass DLC reveals, with Jack-O being their second one.

Got to admit, my favourite part of the KOF15 trailer is that the announcer sounds like he overdosed on CVS2 before going into the studio.

What really made me ROTFLOL was when all the action shifted to one side…except one Guile turtling in the corner, whipping out Sonic Booms like there was no tomorrow.

I play Strive, though not actively right now due to time. Anyone can feel free to bring up whatever they want, @areaseven just seems to be one of the few who does, so I applaud him.

 

I recently got back into SFV. Currently trying to build up enough Fight Money to purchase Akira and the new stages so I don’t have to pay real money. I’ve already used FM to buy Oro, Rose, and Dan.

Since I didn’t buy the game until there was a discount on the Champion Edition last year Fight Money hasn’t been an issue, but I’ve been learning how earning FM has been nerfed big time. I can’t even earn any through completing Arcade Mode or individual stories, only from leveling up or completing Survival Mode. I’ve already watched all the Demonstrations, and I’ve done about as many Trials as I can (I honestly don’t have the skill to complete them all…some of them are really f’in HARD) so my ways to earn FM are limited.

Anyway, I’ve been watching tournament matches on YouTube to learn some good bread-and-butter combos. I’ve actually found the newer characters more intriguing than the old ones. So far, Menat and G are my favorite characters to play as. Abigail is just so unique because of his ridiculous size. Ed and Falke are boring as hell, though  

 

Nice, though you should be able to earn FM through the individual story modes, that's what I've been doing for the monthly Fight Chance costumes (I bought the main bundle last year and bought the current season pass as well as the various Pro Tour dlc packs). I'm mainly a grappler player over the last couple decades, so Rainbow Mika and Zangief are my mains.
