Well, it can be for you right now, just see your collection as complete now, sell off what you value less, redo your display or change mode for all, and then see if there is one piece or two you would still want to add later.

Or wait for the Reset that is coming soon, and it will be taken care for you, along with the rest...

That sounds like more of a threat to me.

 

Oh I knew what he was talking about. If you think about it more though, we are already in the state of not owning a lot of things. If your phone breaks, you don't own the right to repair it. All your apps live in the "cloud" where they can be taken from you at any time.

But if you REALLY think about it, you never own anything anyways. Things own you. You don't own them. Hence my argument about the new reset being the same as the old one.

 

I agree with @kibble - you decide when you are done. Just because XYZ is making $500 family-dollar POS's doesn't mean you have to buy it.

I just saw a review of the TFC jet that has no place in TF lore but is actually just the kind of unique thing I'm interested in. Admittedly a bit pricey for now but I think I am going to support something like this more than ACME's 900th version of Optimus, now with clicky-finger. Unique pieces are why I got into 3P in the first place, and sometimes a good deluxe or voyager is every bit as good as an MP. Otherwise NA and MS and Vecma/MTF/MechPlanet wouldn't cranking out so much bite-sized gold. Ok, I'm not a scale junkie but you get my drift.

Not the end of 3P as long as there's someone willing to buy some kind of other option.

It will be for me if I ever get a nice MP Computron and Defensor.

 

3P MP won’t be done until FT makes every G1 figure and version 2s. So we have a good 20 years left.

 

FT will do Defensor, Bruticus, Computron, Abominus, Devy, and Predaking. Citybots, Skullcruncher, Scourge, and probably Sky Lynx. I have high doubts we get the last two Headmasters from Maketoys right now unless they sell the designs. Does a XTB/KFC deliver on Autobot/Decepticon remaining Targetmasters? I think we only continue to get G1 stuff out of FT, very slowly XTB/KFC, and perhaps Zeta will focus on later combiners. If their Raiden is successful doing Road Caesar, Liokaiser, and Landcross may be successful.

 

Hastak has survived for years on doing the same thing over, and over. Why would 3p be any different?
