So I just joined, figured why not. I like Transformer toys, been reading the comics, there's no reason why I shouldn't be on here. So I did that. Now, after I learned that this forum emails me ever time someone replies to a thread I'm watching the hard way, I went to my preferences in my profile and un-checked that little box that says 'Receive Emails for Threads Watched', or whatever it happens to be called right now, so that I wouldn't get emailed. Now, can someone please tell me why I've got an ever-increasing amount of emails that say a thread I'm watching has gotten a reply?
You're in the right spot... Quick question: Did you check both Preferences and Alert Preferences??? Sometimes you have to uncheck in both areas, depending on what alerts you have checked as well. Thank you for the help. I found something relating to alerts with one of those FAQ links you so graciously provided. I didn't see any applicable box to un-check in Alert Preferences, though.
