Mine had better packaging this time than all my previous deliveries. Before they were always tossed in a box that was far too big for them where they would slide around inside. In my latest delivery they were in a nice tight package so they were secured in transit.

Next week sees the release of volume 1; this will include the four-issue mini-series, and "Man Of Iron", "The Enemy Within" and "Raiders of the Last Ark" (now in full colour!). Basically, the stories from UK #1-21!

Basically the volume many collecting this title have been waiting for.

At the very least it's nice to finally have something to place squarely at one end of the run and hopefully begin to plug a few more Marvel gaps.

Dark Cybertron was a fun read as MTMTE is finally featured in the collection. MTMTE is the best TF story/comic, so its a great intro for people who havent read it yet.

Agreed, though I can't fathom why they're publishing Monstrosity next. I thought the idea was to keep people reading, not frontload the run with some of the worst stories ever and risk losing subscribers.

I personally think they should avoid any IDW stuff for now unless it's from really early in the run.

Looked through issue fifteen today. I'd forgotten how truly awful Dreamwave artwork could be.

So it's been confirmed "Infiltration" is volume 32... with "Stormbringer" as vol 36. So volumes #33-35 (the latter out this week) are full of Megatron Origin, Autocracy/Primacy etc.

Why on Earth would Hachette (and it's basically Simon Furman making these choices) choose to split "Infiltration" away from the next 'chapters' of that tale, just to divert to pre-war stuff. Surely that should go BEFORE "Infiltration"? Just seems a rather bizarre choice.

I gave up on these (after realising I don't care enough about anything non-Marvel to fork over more cash for) but I always have a soft spot for early-IDW (the Furman era) and this just seems a very strange decision...kinda like throwing in "Hearts of Steel", omitting certain Marvel issues etc.

Also heard there are some jumbled/incorrect pages in "Primacy".

Apparently replaced by two random pages from "War And Peace". What an odd error.

Yes, given they reprinted Target 2006 due to a (minor) spine problem, I am sure a free copy of Primacy will be attached to a future volume...

You need to chase that up with Hachette, IIRC Issue #1's reprint was packed in with Issue #7(?) I believe.

having finally gotten round to reading the last issue, I think the error is someone screwing up the print order - the two pages that are replaced are in the same place as where they originally occurred in the previous edition - so either someone forgot to update the print master that went to the printers, or the printers f-ed up and hoped no-one would notice...

really is frustrating these sorts of errors are still occurring in this run - have largely enjoyed it, filled in many gaps in my collection so far... even if Hachette's Customer services are beyond appalling

I am not sure if this is right but I got a premium subscription and the issues I have are issue 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12. I have also only had one signed picture. I am seeing that issues 15 and 16 are out! Is this normal.

Yes. Contact them about the missing two issues of course, but some part works companies tend to send after release for promotion reasons. Others send them in advance. For Hachette this is normal.
