Yeah, I'm hoping for a few volumes of odds and ends including prose stories. I know the final Regeneration One volume had a prose piece included and issue 70 is gonna have 2 from MTMTE so it's not like they're totally against including them

I'm really glad they are expanding the series. G2 will be a welcome addition. I'd like to see Armada and Beast Wars too. It would be nice if the IDW run continued to the end of the continuity with that Unicron storyline so it feels complete.

Anyone else not get theirs from retail today? Spoke to the guys in Smiths who said the magazine should have been in the delivery pallet but it was missing. Just wanted to see if you guys got yours all okay and this is just a fluke

WHSmiths seem to have a pretty iffy track record with getting this thing in on time. You'd think such a big and long-established news retail outlet would have this nailed down. My tiny newsagent has had zero problems getting every issue on time. Occasionally it's even in there the Tuesday before official release day.

Yeah, I ended up just ordering it from Forbidden Planet and it arrived here today. Might just cancel my Smiths order and just pre-order them all on FP. I'd rather pay the extra postage there and be guaranteed it then being at the mercy of a Hachette subscription or hoping Smiths have actually got it in

so it turned out my issue 68 never arrived at whsmith .
I went on hachetts website and the issue was sold out :(  .

I did miss issues 4 to 12 as i didnt have an order in place back then . Can anybody tell me which issues are marvel and dreamwave between 4 and 12 as i would prefer to buy back issues of those first .

Forbidden Planet didn't have issue 70. Said a shipment hadn't been sent.

    Issue 5 is War Within
7 is Wanted Galvatron: Dead or Alive
    9 is Trial by Fire
10 is Regeneration One (if you count that as Marvel)
11 is The Iron Fist (Dreamwave TF vs Joe)

Might explain why Smiths didn't have mine in (think it's happened once before so not awful, but still a pain)

so, finally got to speak to a very good manager at my local Smiths - she was equally as confused as me as to the situation, so rang Hachette to find out what's going on - it sounds like there was a delay at Hachette's end, and no issue 70's were sent out - can anyone verify this?

they didn't have an ETA, but the manager has said she'll keep chasing as it's cr@p service from Hachette to not tell anyone of the delay

My local newsagent rang their Menzies supplier today and were told no issues have arrived from the publishers yet. I guess this means nothing is going to show up until at least Tuesday at the earliest. Bank holiday weekend probably won't help either.
And yes, it's shitty of Hachette to not say anything about this. Especially when their Facebook page is still posting about the new issue like it's business as usual.

ah - finally put 2 and 2 together! - i'm the guy who took them to DM and got absolutely nothing out of them- think you commented on my PSA about the futility of the DM - their entire stance was essentially, " if you're not a direct subscriber, you're dead to us" - that is an utterly shambolic way of dealing with customer services... am hoping it'll turn up at some point this week..

just came out of whsmith ....
no sign of issue 70 or my missed issue 68 . The guy was aware there was a problem .

Tempted to just cut my losses and use that £20 per month to buy Transformers toys instead .

can confirm that Smiths have now had them - picked mine up today - over a week late..

oh well... only 30 more issues and i'll be done with Hachette and their pitiful attempt at customer services...
