But. But. The Decepticon Matrix of Leadership doesn't exist! Regardless, I love the design of that thing. Good mix of G1/WFC and Movieverse to be able to fit into both universes, which makes it perfect for the game.
It only seems logical that If Primus created the Matrix of Leadership, Then Unicron has his own as well. (The Dead Matrix) So then, the Dead Matrix is now the Dark Spark. (kinda dumb)
Wow, unoriginal AND badly written. It's like they really did try to come up with something right out of a fanfic.
I actually think the Dark Spark design itself looks cool, but seriously, the name, description, and even the grammar (think they might've missed a comma in there...) are straight out of a bad fanfic.
Holy shit, amazing. With each and every new reveal of this game, they manage to show even better (or worse) just how little effort they're putting in. Seriously, nobody took the time to even check the text? It's very poorly written, contains errors, and doesn't even make a lick of sense: 'others debate whether it exists at all'. Wow, guys! Let's write something that sounds hella cool! It's getting hilarious. Poorly written promotional material. Pre-order renders of Skywarp and Thundercracker that lazily copy WFC promos (why waste time deciding on another pose?). Poor looking videos with terrible choppy framerate... As somebody who used to work at a games developer...come on guys, I KNOW you want to make this a good game, and I know how painful it must be to read reactions like mine - but whatever the circumstances that landed you this job, you're doing a bad job showing of you put any effort into all this It looks really nice, yes. Not exactly the most original of things...an antithesis to the hero's holy relic, but I think it's so common on modern fiction/movie/cartoon/games that I'm actually not holding that against it. My problems are with pretty much everything else they've shown so far. Let's face it: Transformers has never really been high fiction. Yeah, that's kind of uncalled for, dude. But I'm happy for you, you're probably bouncing around in your room giggling you just typed all that. You know what? My biggest fear for this thing right now is that they're probably not even going to acknowledge these are separate continuities. I bet they're going to brush it off as just being in the past and present - that's how low my expectations for this game are right now.
Run on sentences you would think that they would have someone proofread this before sending it out at least it looks cool right.
I agree with much of what's already been said. It looks nice but conceptually it's beyond uninspired and wearisome. It was better left a myth rather then a plot device.
