Sorry to bring on the probable bad news, but since some jerk doesn't probably won't use spoiler tags, there should be a warning in the thread title to avoid whatever happened to the Avengers.

And considering how I've been sparse with any spoiler posts as I want you guys to be in The Dark as much as possible I won't unload my note book until early Friday immidiately following the end of the Midnight screenings.

I really hate how my mom wouldn't let me go all because it's midnight, even if I have no school for a month and a half.

That was my main idea when I found out how much I had to do this weekend, but there were two main problems with the drive-in idea for me. First and most important, my local drive in isn't even playing TDKR in favor of Ice Age 4 and Brave. They played the same two movies last weekend and didn't get a lot of customers, so they're playing them again this weekend. Second, TDKR is definitely going to be a dark movie and if it were to be the first movie playing, it would be very hard to see the first twenty minutes of the movie.

TDK came out in December, and this is coming out five days after TDK did, so an accurate guess.

    Spoilerific notes:

I cried of happiness when Bane snapped Batman's back. The nerd in me just couldn't take the awesomeness of it.

    Scarecrow's cameo was great.

Alfred leaving took me completely by surprise.

Bane and Talia's relationship was heartbreaking.

HE LIVES!!!!! That ending was superb.

People that hated the fact that Bruce lives at the end missed the whole fucking point of Nolan's Batman Trilogy. Bruce never wanted to be this creature for the rest of his life he just wanted to be a symbol to cause people to stand against crime and corruption. Bruce faking his death is the only way that he could be free as in a way he realized that as long as he "Batman" lived it would only get worse.

When we see him at the beginning he is paralyzed both from nearly a decade of wear and tare physically but psychologically the damage is worse because of what happened in The Dark Knight.

Exactly. It was so great to see the happiness Alfred showed after the amount of sadness he had shown at the funeral. This movie was crazy, I was smiling and laughing one minute, feeling like crying and heartbroken the next.

Also, I loved John Drake in this movie. Great character, worthy of succeeding Batman for sure. After all, that's what that last scene must lead to. I particularly loved the ending, with Lucius realising Bruce had likely survived then the cafe scene proving it. Then the last shot of Drake rising. Perfection.

And another thing Ironhide while Batman saves Gotham City he also delivers its death sentence when the Fusion Reactor goes off as over time the citizens of Gotham will die from cancer from the radiation.

Man I gotta stay out of here until tomorrow before I see something I can't un-see.

It sounds like it is getting a pretty great response so far. Seems like the only people who are really disappointed are the ones who were hoping for "The Dark Knight" all over again or who want Batman in costume the whole time.

I am so excited for tomorrow! I've been listening to the score non stop since Tuesday.
