Bat cowl is only $40? Bought.
The Broken Cowl looks cool but I think i'll be fine with the bare bones dvd.
The DVD cover looks better than the Blu-ray cover. Does anyone know if there's gonna be a blu-ray release in a tin case? I bought Batman Begins and the Dark Knight in tin cases at Best Buy, I'd like for TDKR to match.
Must. Have. Blu-Ray.
I don't get something. My idiot friend thinks Hathaway's Catwoman sucks, while the AC one is better.
I'll probably be sticking to the bare bones DVD. Which would match my copies of Begins and Dark Knight.
I'm assuming that AC=Arkham City....as for my thoughts on the matter....
...difference of opinion...
...I think both takes on the character have their place, and work for what they were a part of. Just like Pfeiffer's version of the character has it's place. I really can't say any one is really "better" than the other, as they all were made for a different kind of story/setting, and each works for that. At least, as far as I'm concerned...
Isn't the "Giftset" just the three individual movies packaged together? Myself, I'm holding out for The Dark Knight Trilogy Ultimate Collector's Edition coming in 2013. There's a reason why I don't own BB or TDK.
via The Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray Release Date, Details and Pre-Order (Updated) | TheHDRoom and various other sources, although WB has given very few details on this one
Would be nice to know what The Dark Knight Trilogy Ultimate Collector's Edition will consist of.
Yeah, I'd like to know too. I really don't want to buy these movies AGAIN in a few months. I want all three, with all the special features, on day one!
I brought BB on DVD, TDK on Blu-Ray, and I'm assuming TDKR on Blu-Ray. WHY do I have to buy these movies AGAIN! Give me the box-set WB!
It would had been nice if Nolan used The Mutants in this movie to help Bane, that would have been interesting.
Remember The Mutants gang?
I thinks thats what your friend really ment, so I went ahead and fixed that for him.
Nah, he's caught off-guard in pretty much the entirety of the Dark Knight.
Ended up cancelling my pre-order of the Cowl because the packaging of the disks just seems so lazy and i was under the impression the normal box slid into the bottom base /:
Now thinking of ordering either the WB exclusive 3-figure set or the regular combo pack on Amazon, does Amazon charge before or after shipping ?
Thats why I am passing on the cowl. It looks cool but I am not going to fumble with a huge piece of plastic every time I want to watch the movie. The regular BR case should just slip in the bottom.
I will just get the steelbook.
Honestly I'll be content with just the bare bones DVD.
I'll be buying the blu-ray and if I feel the ultimate collector's set is worth it, I'll buy that, too and just give my individual movies to my sister.
Can't wait for the dvd I saw that movie 4 times in the theater breaking my previous record of 3 times with dotm . Best trilogy to date at least till avengers 3 comes out .
Damn the broken cowl blu-ray set on amazon is sold out. I'll be getting the regular blu-ray/dvd combo for free with my points on amazon.
