    So who else is incredibly fascinated by these mysterious "Creators"? I certainly am, and I am pretty sure that they are in fact the Quintessons. If they aren't, that's still cool, but I really hope we get the freaky, five-faced dues in TF5.

    I hope they're the Quintessons but I'm scared shitless of how Bay's gonna make them look.

    Good chance I think that they're the Quints, or Bay's version of them. If not and they're something uninspired by existing TF lore, I'd be a tad disappointed that they went the whole "higher alien power" route. It'd be too much like Pacific Rim, and a hundred other sci-fi stories.

    I really hope they aren't the Quintessons. Last I checked, they weren't green and slimy.

    Quintessons are the obvious answer, but I wouldn't be surprised if they go more left field and bring in the Vok.

    Well, they were kinda green.

    The hand was freaky. I'm really creeped out about how the rest of them is going to look.

    Ooh, totally forgot about them. Heh, that's actually a good possibility. They're not tied to Cybertronian origins like the Quints, but they do concern themselves with Earth. And with the developers likely wanting to keep Earth and humans central in the films, it could make sense.

    The Quintessons were actually many different races thrown together as an empire and many were green and slimy lol. Whatever was flying the ships may not have actually been "the" Creators but some form of another organic worker force.

    Look here.

    Last time I checked, G1 was in the 80's.

    It's called redesign.

    Pretty sure they'll be Quintessons - probably based on a more organic version of the above image of the Quintesson executioner. Though I wouldn't mind any of the following variations;

    Perhaps Bay's interpretation of the Quintessons is as an organic race, rather than a mechanical one. Or perhaps an amalgamation of numerous races, similar to the Covenant.

    Quints would be neat to see how would Bay transforms them into something, different than what we're used to seeing.

    In G1 the Quints were organic. But they were changed into cyborgs half organic half robot by Unicron.

    Then its possible we could have both versions;
    - Organic version for flashbacks (E.g. explaining the organics in the opening of AOE)
    - Half cyborgs/half robots in present day (E.g. explaining the cyborg wolves in AOE)

    True but we also only seen its hand right? The arms may still be organic but the rest of the body may already not be. Much like with what we seen in the Wolves.

    People are worried about how the traditionally freakish tentacled space monsters will look in a movie universe that specializes in freakish tentacled space monsters?

    See, this is exactly WHY I want the Quintessons to be in the movie-verse, they'd look awesome in that style!

    I hope it is the Quintessons. If they have more Dinobot appearances, and introduce some freaky looking CGI Quintessons that don't stray too far in design from the 80's characters, then this movie series could save some face in the end. (...or 5 faces...)
