I think it’s possible it’s the same year.

What’s sad is we won’t get one. The best timeline info comes from D+ ordering shows and movies. The Spider-Man movies aren’t in that timeline information. So short of Kevin Feige addressing it, we kinda have to guess.

I’m going to rewatch it, but early on Clint and his kids talk about this being the second Christmas after their return. I think. So in theory the timeline works for Far From Home’s final scene being before Hawkeye’s finale.

From reading trivia about No Way Home, I guess the creative teams manage to change a few things for MCU continuity's sake once they found out ahead of time that the Pandemic screwed up their projected release schedule, things like small dialogue. I know the Spidey film was suppose to release before "Hawkeye" premiered, but I imagine they could have easily changed up Yalena's dialogue since it was a few pieced of line in one of the last episodes. The release thing was a bigger deal for the Netflix imports since it seemed Matt's appearance was suppose to be experienced before Fisk's reveal.
As for the final timeline, I guess they could take place in the same year since NWH ends at Christmas time, though it boggles the mind how they could have repaired or replaced the giant shield so quickly and install it.

Well I guess in terms of everyone’s favorite MCU movie for this year, we’ve got a clear winner…

The initial batch of D+ shows, that varies a bit more.

That’s essentially my order as well, although I just finished Hawkeye and I might actually place it above WandaVision. The latter was amazing, but Hawkeye was just a blast to watch.

Well, if we're doing orders, for me it was:

    Movies
    1. No Way Home
    2. Shang-Chi
    3. Black Widow
Can't place Eternals since I haven't seen it yet

    Shows
    1. Hawkeye
    2. What If?
    3. Wandavision
    4. FatWS
    5. Loki

I've really enjoyed what's been offered this year. After Endgame and Far From Home, I was a little uncertain how things would look going forward, but it's been a fun ride so far.

Shucks, forgot to include that one. I’d tie it with WandaVision. It’s difficult to rank these, everything was so good this year! Even Black Widow, which wasn’t as stellar compared to other MCU projects, was still entertaining and better than many other movies

Looking at it, black widow was really the only MCU project I wasn’t a fan of, everything else had some appeal to it.

This is only hard because folks want one explanation. It’s a lot:
-Hit at a low moment for Covid before Omnicron shut down the world
-Features one of the most recognizable super heroes in the world.
-Third part of a strong trilogy
    -Strong nostalgia take.

And that’s before you get into the weaknesses of the other films we’ve seen in theaters since they reopened. Encanto is probably the best film I’ve seen since Covid, with Shang Chi and Spider-Man being close ties for second. Black Widow and Eternals were deeply flawed. Fast Nine and Jungle Cruise were weak films too. Dune is a mess. It’s been a really weak movie year.

    My Marvel twin!

I think I like Shang Chi better than No Way Home because of the existence of Into the Spiderverse. I know they’re not exactly the same movie, but having both tackle the Multiverse invites comparisons and Spiderverse is so good.

Because it’s a freaking amazing movie that is the perfect blend of fan service and heart.

I appreciate that they released this movie around the holidays. Quite a few people experience seasonal affective disorder, and this time of year is traditionally rough for people as it is for various factors, not to mention the turmoil of the last two years.
So I think we all needed that uplifting feel-good pep talk as much as Peter. I know I did.

    That’s what Spider-Man represents

I absolutely LOVED him as Striker in Helluva Boss, I definitely think he’d make a good Ghost Rider.
