As I said, my opinion. I never really liked Cosmos as character, of the more underused ones I prefered Seaspray.

 

seaspray would also be cool a nice warparth would be good but i realy want hot rod not rodimusprime yet to soon to kill optimus unless its at the end of the movie and they make him epic the whole way though

 

Considering upto 25 of the robots are just going to be background during a flashback/montage, I suprised how many people are getting caught up over this.


It only leads to disappointment and whinging.

we don't even know if that really counts as a 'transformer' it simply may be just a device, not an actual sentient thing.

 

These are movie execs that said '40 robots'. They're not fans. Anything CG that's walking around that's mechanical is a 'robot' to them. Devastator and his components count as 7, Arcee and her components count as 4, and Jetfire linked up with Prime counts as 3. Sorry, but that's the most likely way they scored it. This also includes any naked protoforms running around.

That is a very good point that most of us, including me, probably missed...
But we dont know if all of the "Bike Bots" are Arcee

it would be nice to some kinda heads up on what the toys are going to look like costs and all that so some of us poorer fans can save lol

 

I agree that would knock out quite a few of them . . . .but not 40.

When some of the staff said there were "around" 40 robots I dont think they would have counted robots barely seen in the background of a quick glimpse/flashback on cybetron.

If any of them were to get toys, I could only imagine one, maybe two, of them getting a Toy, which most likely will be a Robot Hero...
Besides, who would seriously by a Transformer that turns into a Blender?  

 

I would! It'd remind me of those crappy little Mcd toys that transformed from foodstuffs into robots (nostalgia moment).

But, seriously, I agree SS; they'll be robot heroes only. I can't see Hasbro making a deluxe toasterbot!
