The funny thing about the Prime VA is that I find his voice work as Optimus Prime in other youtube videos to be better.

 

So far it seems like TF shows aimed at kids respect their audience's intelligence more than TF shows and movies aimed at adults.

And I thought I wasn't going to laugh any more than I did at the first episode...man did this get so confusing it's funny fast. Seriously...was the writer like "WHO CARES HOW IT HAPPENS!" and threw out this suddenly   Sadly, I'm thinking this is a bit rushed and on the cheap, and thus it is suffering by not making anything clear.

Absolutely agree with the anime comments, right down to the Windblade finale.

Well, Megas XLR was a pretty bad show.



I lost expectations for this series pretty early on, but I sincerely didn't think it'd jump the shark even further. I can't fathom what the last episode will be like. Maybe they will keep the anime theme and hit the reset button like at the end of Big O.

 

Ima give this one more episode, but THAT'S IT!

I think one more episode is all that is left.

 

Seeing as its the last episode...it's almost like watching a bad movie. I want to keep watching to see if it gets better, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

 

Episodes 3 - 6 were somewhat decent for a project of this kind. But the first two episodes, and this episode are indeed very poor quality.

 

I love all the windblade hate radiating from this thread. It lets me know there is still hope for mankind.

This is not a combiner. Combiners are... y'know, combined. Not just pieces hovering randomly in the air.

A more accurate title would be "insult to a significant portion of the fandom."

Is it just me? Or is Energon looking more and more like a masterpiece compared to this pile of shit? They gave me such high hopes on the whole "for mature audiences" thing, but no... they gave us nothing more than characters I barely even knew, hardly ANY combiners like the title said they would, Victorion shows up for only a FEW minutes and becomes Starscream's limb, Starscream switches to his backstabbery life style (wow, didn't see that coming!)...

What the flying fuck did I even hope that it was going to be good?

I cannot tell you how hard I laughed when I entered a store the other day and saw a whole rack of in package deluxe bumblebees who had been shelfwarming since Prime.

 

Yikes, that was some vapid shit. It seems like all the lasers, lightning, and light effects, try really hard to hide the blandness of this episode.

 

Now that's pretty bad. Thankfully I haven't seen shelfwarming Bees in a while. AOE Dinobots on the other hand... .
