Anyone else really sad when the bumblebee movie ended? wanted the thing to last forever and the ending song was great too im also listening to that right now. they need a sequal and his design in the movie was also superb. I liked the introduction to the new decepticons. this needs to continue

 

Ooh, did that happen? Last I heard they were still saying it was in the Bayverse continuity. If so, that's great news. All those autobots they killed off can be in the movies again and looking more like themselves this time around. Except Cliffjumper, who they killed off for no reason in the new movie. Stop killing named characters for no reason, Paramount! Maybe they can retcon Bee scanning the camaro at the end of the movie and keep him a Beetle for a while.

 

They also kind of wasted blitzwing in my opinion, but i can live with it if we get a starscream back (that looks like he did in the opening scene, and acts like G1 starscream a bit)

 

I think paramount/Hasbro wanted to see how well the movie did before they officially reboot. That’s why there are talks that Hasbro is looking to rejuvenate the franchise and deviate from the tone of the bay movies. And While I agree on the cliffjumper note, I did get a kick out of it because I love Prime, but it also demonstrates perfectly how dangerous Shatter and Dropkick are to Bee. They probably chose cliff since him and bee are the same size.

ANYWAY. A shame this guy is Masterpiece scale... would love to have him with studio series. Either way, heavy following this.

 

Yeah, at their stock meeting, Hasbro officially stated that Bumblebee was “the start of a new story telling direction”, or something along those lines. They had been leaning towards this for a while, but it seems like they decided to come out and say it now that Bumblebee more than made its money back.

In TLK, Prime says that he had not heard Bee's voice since Cybertron fell, which lines up with Bumblebee's events. Thought that was an interesting observation.

 

That's a good point. That's something in the Last Knight that didn't line up with the earlier movies since he talked at the end of the first one...

He's saying that quote from TLK lines up better with the Bumblebee movie than it does with the original.

He won’t actually be Thrust unless Hasbro gives him that name on a toy or he is named in a movie.

That was just concept art. Shockwave has been named Blitzwing before on concept art.

That would be copying their formula and the movies would be very boring.
