    Why?

Regardless, I think Kripke had a five season plan in mind. Not surprised by the season five renewal.

Nothing wrong with this show, but it's definitely losing it's interest for me. 1 or 2 more seasons and I'm good.

He had been hinting that for a long time. It felt like he was trying to be vague about it recently but now he’s confirmed it.

I appreciate a good ending and completely trust Kripke. Can’t wait for season 4 to start!

I think he was referring to the overall universe rather then the main show itself.

Is it going to end at Season 5 or is his involvement ends at season 5 and it goes on for another 10 seasons like Supernatural.

But I could tell from Season 3 that it only had a few seasons left. I hope they stick the landing.

This is a smart way to go about it the main show ends so it doesn’t feel dragged out. Meanwhile Amazon and Kripke can make profit from the spinoffs

It’s going to end at season 5, the main show that is.

The universe itself will continue on through the expanded stuff probably.

The bit you quoted was sarcasm. I totally get that the main show is ending at 5.

Also knowing how the comics end I doubt we will get expanded material afterwards if they stay true to the comics which they have deviated here and there.

    Well according to this article.

Eric Kripke on why season 5 will be the end of 'The Boys'

The intention is to make more seasons of Gen-V and develop more spin offs.

The Boys will end with no continuation of any sort.

That makes me feel a little cautious on how the series will end. Because the comics have no lead up to expanded stories.

I feel like it has to. I feel like Vought should be completely closed and gone by the end of the series for The Boys.

The only way I could see other content is more diabolical set before Season 5 or a show about the remaining sups that didn’t die.
