I really like this idea. Would also be a great way to explain why all this Cybertronian tech keeps ending up on Earth; Unicron is calling it there in hopes that someone will come along and bust him out. I can't really see Unicron being the entirety of planet Earth, since if he ever wakes up then, well, the series is over. But buried beneath it? Definitely. And from there he could probably get bigger and bigger as he eats more things until he's back up to full planet-bot size.

I hope not. I bet he's like this collossally huge robot, like twice the size of Optimus.

That'd suck for humans. Unicron would transform and crush us all.

My guess, he's become part of the earth. He's the planetoid the size of Mars that struck earth around 4.2 something billion years ago, the collsion of which produced our Moon. Now he's lodged beneath the earth's surface.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant_impact_hypothesis

Now the autobots will be forced to try to keep him sealed up or else the earth will be in big trouble.

I'm thinking, End of Evangelion levels of destruction in one of the season finales.

Personally, I think the idea of having Earth be Unicron, is ludicrous. However, if done right, his "blood" could be magma.

I think it'd be a great, original plot twist. I think it's more likely that Unicron is actually much smaller and just sleeping inside Earth for whatever reason.

For everyone talking about Unicron being Metal, have you been paying attention to Transformers at all for the last 25 Years? Has the Beast Era taught you nothing?

It's quite possible that Unicron could have taken on an organic form in this universe. That would allow for him to be the Earth. As for supporting life, well, how are Humans even able to survive on Cybertron? Kinda silly to even question that.

The only real question would be. If the Earth does turn out to be Unicron, how many humans will die when he transforms to robot mode? They'd have to try to evacuate the Earth and move everyone to a different planet if they learned they were actually living on a deadly robot that could kill them all at any moment when it transforms.

I would bang my head into my computer screen with excitement if it turned out Unicron was actually Earth. It would be so crazy, I'd love it!

I like the idea mentioned that he fuses with the Space Bridge. Better yet, he could be able to teleport about, making him an even greater threat. And for the sake of a fitting, not to mention AWESOME death scene, he collapses in on himself (a la Cybertron in DOTM).

For all we know, Unicron is just a large Transformer, not necessarily planet-sized. And frankly, I'm fine with that. As long as they pull him off as the "Chaos Bringer" the characters have labeled him, I'll be just fine with the result.

I dont think he'll be Earth, but we have heard before that Unicron can create tainted worlds, I think this could end up being related somehow.

I remember a friend of mine suggesting this idea a few weeks ago, and although I thought it was a good idea, I didn't think it could happen. However after the latest episode, I'm beginning to think maybe he could be right. I think it would be a pretty cool idea, definitely very original :)
