It's already more of a Bayverse cut more than you think. Like how Blitzwing just is *there* on Earth as soon as BB lands and is never mentioned again. The Optimus hologram scene in the forest was probably just a one-time nod to G1 Prime until they added those Cybertron scenes. And of course the last scene where BB scans an old Camaro.

But apparently, Shatter and Dropkick were going to alert the Decepticons because they found the Allspark in the Hoover Dam. Which I'd believe seeing how there are still Hoover Dam shots in the old trailers, but that was just a rumor.

It would be nice to know if originally those decepticons were Bonecrusher and the rest.

That’s a really interesting case to be made. Cause yeah Blitzwing was there but he also couldn’t report that he found Bee? Like you could probably explain that with Shatter and Dropkick were the backup team.

wait so do we still not have concept art for the supposed G1 Megatron that was cut? This is pretty silly.

There's probably some kind of contract on what they are and are not allowed to show off to us. Maybe Hasbro and Paramount want to keep it a secret.

We do. It's in the Bumblebee motion comic that came with the home release. It's not a G1 design. A user who saw the early screening confirmed that it was pretty much the design they saw. It's just the Bayverse '07 look with slight modifications, and it's probably the reason why it was cut from the film.

https://static.seibertron.com/images/comics/uploads/1554177075-bumblebee-comic-megatron-nb.jpg The helmet is reshaped more like the classic bucket-head? I guess, but from what we heard I was expecting more extensive changes to the body.

Ew. I just checked out that motion comic.

If this is honestly what they came up with I don't blame them for not wanting to show more, that looks atrocious. Then again that comic in general is pretty ugly so it's probably not the best representation. Hopefully as they continue to distance themselves from the awful Bay films they'll refine it and make him look like a proper Megs.
