    They shared Nerdist's post because it was exclusive to Nerdist. The social media page for Bumblebee can't control the caption of what Nerdist added. Plus, why would some random social media intern know the future of Transformers? We had a Viacom PR guy reporting that the character they we saw in Bumblebee trailer was Starscream and when it was really Blitzwing. They don't know anything.

    ....yes, they can. It's called vetting and Paramount and other studios commonly do this with exclusive content. They control the messaging and often specify in specific terms what terminology to use for social sharing, or approve what the publication decides to caption it. Nerdist would not have captioned it that without Paramount's express approval. Likewise, Paramount would not share something it did not approve. They could have easily just directly linked the article.
