At least this new wave is in early, so whatever their relationship with Hasbro is, it must be working some of the time.

 

Yeah with how quick they got in the Starscream wave and Whirl I think the Skids wave might be the exception, not the rule.

 

i highly recomend pre ordering the takara versons of your toys that you dont want to miss out on.

genral rule of thumb i pre order all takara tfs in case hasbro products dont come out lurnt that after dotm soundwave leadfoot and que

That's so damn expensive though. I can't see that being worth it for a lot of stuff, but I imagine you end up getting the Hasbro stuff beforehand and can cancel some of the Takara stuff?

Cimungmung has them but they ar at prices you would associate with a TT for the states

sorry, it was about a week or two when I checked, may have sold out. Tony was selling swerve and cosmos for 35, not sure what the shipping was.

 

Came as a surprise to me too. Didn't think they'd sell out any time soon, much like how things went with Encore Fort Max. My plan was to keep any eye on it and wait for BBTS to put it on clearance like they did Fort Max. Guess not *shrug*

 

I'm just waiting for the usual suspects to come and say that Hasbro are not to blame for the poor distribution and that it really is BBTS's fault.

 

Waspinator's now listed as not coming into stock until March. I'm considering cancelling my preorder of Wasp and Skids and looking elsewhere for them.

All this talk about shortages is crazy. Was it just a shortage to BBTS? In Colorado, I've seen several Wasp/Skids waves on shelves for a few weeks now. I'll have to go looking again. I initially got mine from BBTS a while ago and didn't think to pick any more up. If I see any, I'll snag them to help out board members at cost plus shipping.

 

I really doubt that it's limited to BBTS but not that it's limited to their weight class.

 

I haven't seen the wave on Wal-Mart's website or Target's either, and it was pulled from Entertainment Earth, I think Hasbro is prioritizing brick and mortar. Still checking my local Target's and Wal-Mart as well.
