When you get a chance to mess around with DK-13 and DK-14, I'd be curious how you feel about them.

I do not have either one, but read some mixed reviews regarding the sets.

 

You're in luck, as I processed DK-13 first. I have good and bad news, but unfortunately more bad than good.

First off, the kit contains good-quality, painted, injection-molded parts made to decent tolerances. The replacement legs are a totally different deco than the default legs, but look very good. The extra height is a significant boost for GUOP. It's all compatible with both armored and unarmored mode. I've never bothered putting this guy into his truck mode, and I don't feel like it right now, either (I display him in his fine and imposing robot mode). But the leg upgrades do have a hinge and swivel system so they can shorten, to ensure they don't interfere with vehicle mode. I tested this and it works great, with appropriate hinges and tabs.

I did have some glue-related QC issues on mine. Nothing bad enough to exchange it, nothing I really care about. I'll post all my pics in my Unboxing thread (see my signature) if you want to check them out. Overall the kit isn't perfect but it's far above average compared to the typical 3D-printed overpriced junk. The weapons and gap fillers are fine. Check out the pics.

 

MP-52 is processing, as is Prime Voyager Starscream. I missed out on him back in the day, so I'm glad to be able to get him now.

 

I really want a version of that character... But at $50 (on a sold out preorder) I hesitate, especially given that the color deco feels wrong to me. And the biggest problem... the worst problem for an Aligned Starscream or Megatron figure?

No articulated eyebrows.

 

I have the first edition deluxe but I want a bigger toy of him, plus Starscream is my favorite Decepticon.

Lucky! Our packages totally swapped due dates. Mine was originally due Tuesday but now tracking says Thursday. Since I leave on vacation Thursday evening, I'm feeling a bit nervous. Thats an awfully valuable package to sit on my doorstep hoping my friend will pick it up in enough time. Hopefully FedEx is on time that day!

This is a great deal for this pack, which includes a great redeco of an excellent Leader figure, a great redeco of an OK battle-master (Rung), two unique blast effects, and 3 little pink soft plastic energon cubes. Oh, and some black play-dough that smells like dead a@#holes. You can use the play-dough as a "Tar pit" effect to display your Fossilizers! Or throw it away ASAP like I did.

You can't go wrong with Whisper and Stormcloud for $4 each. They're probably the best Micro Masters, apart from Bombshock and Growl maybe? The transformation\tolerances are not the greatest, but they're the only available Aircraft Micro Masters to park on Airwave's carrier mode...

Yeah. I've noticed they do that a lot lately, possibly because shipping costs for everything have gone up, so by the time it shows up as "In Stock", their effective cost for the item has gone up $10-$20. They did so with ER Scorponok too ($174.99 as an In-Stock item, $159.99 when I bought him as a pre-order).

 

I guess my whinging last night about my package worked because it was unexpectedly delivered today. I'm once again really impressed with how well they can ship so many items. Everything was Tetris'd in real well with the right amount of bubbles and no excess space.
