Yup, historically awful. But if you want a real laugh, look up reviews for UPS' UK operation - I only did because I experienced it...

They gave my order to two different companies without telling me. Briefly lost it, and I was likely never getting it until I complained directly and explained that it was expensive sale items from Amazon US (Marvel Legends Sentinel amongst it) that couldn't be replaced. Funnily enough, it appeared rather quickly after that!

I've had three deliveries from Fed-ex in as many weeks (one was my most recent POL delivered this morning), and I've had wonderful experiences with them. Here before noon each time even though the location the truck departs from is well over an hour away from here.

Hell I just got a text that an item I bought from Home Depot was picked up tonight and is scheduled for delivery Friday.

My BBTS order arrived...DHL had given it to Yodel without telling me, and they left two massive boxes containing hundreds of $ of stuff on my doorstep. In the rain. While I was out.

Even worse, there's another box due because apparently the one big box I used to get isn't an option currently. Even worse again, I still have a load of pre-orders with BBTS...

Siege Crosshairs just dropped into my PoL, but I'll probably hold off and see if my Amazon preorder comes in soon - it would be $10 cheaper and likely come sooner.

EDIT - And an hour later, I get an email from Amazon that it's ready to ship. I'm sure I'll have it in-hand before BBTS would have even shipped it out. Sorry, BBTS!

Where is BBTS finding all these old obscure TF's?

Siege Crosshairs and Spinster hit my POL. Guess I should wait for Astrotrain to hit before I ship.

Sometimes they buy out old stock from failing businesses at a discount.

Well darn. Was finally going to preorder Rung & Singe since they're still not showing up anywhere else that I frequently purchase from and now they're sold out. Pretty sure they still were available a few days.

UPS shipping is still listed in their FAQ. If they truly stopped using UPS, then my next PoL shipment will be my last.

It's not an option when you go to ship. I always us ups and had to use FedEx this time.

I sent them an email asking if this is true. I also told them if it is, I doubt I use their store anymore. I don’t like Fedex or the USPS.

then you might not be using a lot of stores anymore. The last time I checked the only store still offering UPS was tfsource. Walmart and Target are USPS priority or fedex ground. EE is fedex or smartpost. I believe toyarena and toydojo are usps priority. Hasbro pulse is fedex. The last 3 times I ordered bbts my only options were surepost $4 or Fedex upcharge or add to pol and wait to ship.

Unless UPS offers 7-day shipping and more competitive rates, you can pretty much kiss them goodbye. Amazon pushed everyone to the brink. With their 7 days a week shipping and delivery, other options/retailers had to adapt. Walmart now offers delivery in a lot of areas, as well as store pick up and even they ship using FedEx. Now, with FedEx operating 7 days a week, starting in January, you can bet they'll be the dominate non-Amazon force in moving packages/shipments. And that Saturday/Sunday delivery is at no extra cost. None.

Going to have to come to terms with FedEx being it. Don't let them deliver to your home, have it all sent to a desk at Walgreens or Staples. There are options.

They also got a bunch of Transformers Go! stuff for pre-order.

I just ordered Bakudora to use as my IDW Tyrest. My only question is, do I paint him to be accurate or call it good with the cool paint job he comes with (I'm cheap, so I'm not buying 2).

You’re right, I won’t. I only use BBTS, Amazon and Pulse. Amazon because of Prime and Pulse because I currently get free shipping. I told BBTS I wouldn’t be using them very much if UPS wasn’t a shipping option.
You’re mistaken about Target. They do use UPS as well as the other shipping options.

I do not understand why people are so clearly against FedEx. It's as if they kicked your puppy and mowed down a village full of families.

If you order from a shop using them, have it sent to a counter (as stated before) at Walgreens (they're pretty much on every street corner at this rate) or Staples. It's safe, secure, free, and easy. Heck, even a FedEx/Kinko's will do it, too.

I never have issues with fedex only when they hand it over to the post office... takes an extra 2 days for delivery
