I went to Virgin Megastore yesterday because they are one of the few places I know that carried DC Direct for cheaper than the comic shops. Lucky me, I found Identity Crisis series 1. Checked em all out and was only going to pick up Green Arrow but this guy looked to good to pass up. Tomorrow I'm going back for Martian Manhunter whom I've been putting off getting for weeks and thus completing my current JLA roster. Expect pics tomorrow.
I have seen pics and reviews of the whole IC line and it seems the only two good ones are deadshot and hawkman. Seems everyone hates the green arrow one. Can't say I blame them, they gave him a freaking skirt!! Hawkman looks cool!!
My comic shop had those hawkmen but I couldn't bear parting with the $15 for a character that I don't really follow that closely.
I overheard the guys at my local comic shop trashing that figure because he looks like something from He-Man. Personally, I think it looks pretty cool.
I almost grabbed him but the eyebrows were way off for me. If the toy had come out exactly as it looks behind the package, I would have gotten it. To me, the best DC Direct firgures are still "Hush" Batman and the Superman from the "Superman" line.
As for the best IMO is Cyborg Superman he just has so much Detail and alot of articulation. Truly a great figure.
Well I guess we all focus on diffrent things but I was showing the Detail on his upper back wich is always coverd up and how much Detail was placed there and the back of his legs.
Not only is he a great figure, he is one of the rarest DCDirect figures out there. Ive only ever seen him once.
