Yeah, things better start going another direction soon. I know some people have more serious comics, but they've all got comedic elements, which let them fit in the "funnies" category.
I've always had somewhat of an issue with the title of the forum. There isn't any rule that suggests that the comics must be funny, but it's expected that they should be in some way or form even if they are serious by people reading them. The most popular comics are usually the comedies. The title of the forum has this subtle effect on me as a comic creator. I don't think i always come up with funny material but I do try. Sometimes, there is a desire for a serious story. I think that if the work is intended to be serious, it should be as such and not really try to get out there and be funny though doing that would be to its benefit. After all, we're in the fan fiction entertainment business. There are lots of different ways to entertai besides using humor. Really glad you brought this up though. It's been on my mind lately. As for the updates, hope Soundwave gets his memories back real soon!
There’s a difference between having a serious comic, and still having comic relief, and having your very first few panels have a character with suicidal tendencies.
