    "advertising" ?

No, scale models like that are like concept art; which is always something both subject to change and often, displaying a particular state or scenario.
The way the car appears in the movie might actually be with all light fx off and dimmed headlights for the majority of scenes, and light FX on only when
engaging in some sort of car combat.

Advertising, as in they are showing off the car in order to get people excited for the movie.

Yes, but the actual and original function of such models is internal studio usage.

You say that like you know that for sure. And, yet, you don't.

Nothing in life is for sure.

But your tone indicates argumentating for the sake of it.

Anyway, the photographs are in no way indicative of being promotional material. The lighting, nor the way the way the model is presented are inline with any of the promo material of this movie so far.

As an analogy to our Transforners hobby, this looks like a product test shot. A proof of concept for the director and the SFX team as a tangible reference model.

If you wanna keep your bets on the thing being portrayed as a disco-mobile in the final movie then go ahead.

I mean, it's a pretty safe bet. They did it for TDK trilogy. You also see it in other things outside of cars, and even outside movies.

The purpose (or one of them) of these models is to examine how real-life light interacts with the design. Since light rendering software still isn't really automatic and 100% true to real life without lots of work, having a physical model that you can just use different light sources on is so much easier with the advent of 3D printing and stuff. They sometimes even do it with cartoons, as I distinctly remember they made 3D maquettes for Star Wars the Clone Wars to base their lighting technology on due to the stylized and cartoony nature of the models. It helps with non-physical objects or things that are too big, like a car, to "play" with the lighting, and then the animators base the in-software lighting on these results.

That said, the lights around the hood and grill I think are likely lights you'll see on the actual car. I can't imagine what function they'd otherwise be replicating. Exhaust doesn't light up, and the whole point of exhaust is to carry heat and emissions away from the engine, not around it. They also look, design-wise, like superficial lights. Nothing to say they'll be lit up at all times, but it's a safe bet they're just there to "look cool."

    *Arguing.

Oh shit now I'm doing it!

I'm struggling to remember a time when the Batmobile has ever been stealthy.

It kinda... stands out, in any of its incarnations.

And yet it still manages to show up and slip away without anyone noticing.

Actually it's funny, the only time the batmobile was ever shown to have stealth capabilities is the Tumbler.

I prefer pretty much anything over the Tumbler. Even the Schumachermobiles slightly edge out the Tumbler for me. Well, maybe not the one-seater Batman and Robin Schumachermobile with bouncy fins. But even that is at least close.

Possible first looks at Pattinson as Bruce Wayne.

Gonna be hard to be used to seeing him as Bruce Wayne... But I heard he is not a bad actor. Have not seen him in anything but Twilight, am guessing it was not his fault but the script that it sucked.

Yeah. It’s like watching The Phantom Menace. You know there’s all these good actors, and you know they’re full of talent. But it’s all absolutely missing there.

THE BATMAN: Robert Pattinson's Training Regime For The DC Comics Movie Has Been Revealed

GYM - Getting abs fast has involved a regular five-minute cardio workout, then a circuit of bicycle crunches, dumbbell side bends, double crunches, and a superman - with three sets of 25 reps per move.

RUNNING - 5-10km, three of four times per week

OUTDOORS - military-style sandbag routines on the beach and boxing.

DIET - Pattinson has cut down on alcohol and has stripped back on processed meat and fried foods as a way of accelerating his physical transformation.

See, now you can say he's training for Batman. Apparently this will make him leaner and more agile and flexible.

Seems like they're going for lean and cut as opposed to burly and bulky this time around. I'm sure they'll throw in a topless scene or two in the movie to show off dem abs.

Another in-depth look at Gotham's police department, who are so inept and corrupt that it takes one of their officers liaising with a vigilante to help stop crime.

    *shakes head*
