Someone needs to edit that picture so it's Batman looking down at his reflecting inner Edward Cullen.

This has certainly been an unorthodox round of casting for this film and honestly sometimes crazy works.

Not all the time, remember we got Leto Joker, but I almost cannot in good faith ever scoff at a casting choice anymore. I’ve been proven wrong too many times so I’m willing to give just about anyone a chance.

Honestly, if leto’s joker had been given a different wardrobe I think he’d have been better received, his acting wasn’t completely terrible

It was a joint effort from everybody involved including but not limited to direction that clearly played into all his worst instincts. His performance in that movie is basically the lone misfire in a sea of great work elsewhere.

I mean... Hunka Hunka. He's essentially doing an SNL quality Heath Ledger impression by way of Jim Carrey

This. So bad, in fact, someone official should have slapped the hairly little bitch while taking back his fluke-win Oscar. The guy's entire track record clearly shows that he's the worst actor, his shit band shows that he's the worst musician, and his entire everything about Joker shows he's just an all around douche canoe. Him winning that Oscar because he got skinny and played a character that literally ANYONE could have was the only real anomaly in this piece of hot garbage's "career".

Not that I have any strong opinions on the guy or anything...

I like This Is War, but that's more because of how well Sword Art Online Abridged used it than the song itself.

You're still on this train? Because Pattinson starred in some crappy movies ten years ago? Movies he, at the time, wasn't thrilled with and once outright said he hated? (He apparently has changed his tune a bit, but still.)

Come on dude, this is ridiculous. This is just mindless doom and gloom, and you're not offering anything to the discussion by acting like this.

TBF, almost everything DC does is shit. And honestly, I have no hopes for this movie.

But Serkis doesn’t exactly have a gleaming record. He’s been in shit before, he’ll be in shit again, and survive.

I'm really looking forward to Matt Reeves's take on Batman. He and his casting director have done a fantastic job so far. A lot of unconventional casting for sure, but I think casting Pattinson as Batman is genius.

Matt Reeves has made some really good stuff (Cloverfield and those Planet of the Apes movies are examples of this). I think DC is at least trying to make a course correction and I think this film will be an example of something that can show their potential.

While I personally wouldn't have casted Andy Serkis as Alfred, Serkis could have had a really good audition. Plus Reeves and Serkis worked together on the Planet of the Apes movies, so Serkis being cast in this film seemed to be inevitable
