Okay if you have seen the promo, you can see that Megatron did find the base.
How will this go down? If he blew it up do you think all the relics will be lost too. Think about it. All the data and information they have stored in their computers. All the technology and resources. Once the base is gone they won't have anything left. No tools, no med bay, no nothing. Hell! They won't be able to get back to Cybertron because if the base goes so does their space-bridge. Maybe that is why Megatron is ruling Cybertron while Optimus isn't. They might be stuck on earth with no way to get to cybertron and no home to stay at. I bet there will be alot of Agent Fowler in the Episodes to come.

And I wonder if one of the humans will die by getting exposed to Cybertron's toxic air.......Yeah probably not going to happen. Yeah no it's not.

 

It might be a step in the right direction.

ok, so it looks like the autobots base will be found and destroyed in the season 2 finale soooo, will arachnid finally be freed. we completly forgot about her, so either she is just gonna be killed in its destruction or escape during it.

If the cons attack the base, why would they free her? She has nothing to offer Megatron like Starscream did.

I say she's going to be one of the minor scenes in between all the chaos. as we see parts of the base explode/crumble, they might show her cracked stasis pod with that 'drilling' sound you always ehre when she's escaping, as rubble crushes the pod or something. Her character is great so she should be back. Plus killing off so many cons, ex or not..is too mcuh!

 

Starscream really didn't have much to offer him though. Well he did but he didn't exactly try to use the bartering chip to his advantage. He threw the keys down and asked for forgiveness. Megatron could have shot him right there. He chose not to. He could choose to spare Airachnid too if he wanted. I don't think he will but who knows this show loves to just throw in random shocking twists.

Honestly in my opinion she was put into that stasis pod not so she could later return but so Arcee wouldn't have killed her and thus evolved as a character because she didn't let revenge get the best of her even though she was right there to kill without any resistance. Chances are she'll just die if the base blows up. Not really much of a loss. She has nothing more to offer the show. Smokescreen and Starscream noticing her were probably just teasing/fake foreshadowing.

 

If you go off of what we've seen for the new "Beast Hunters" toys...I would say that Airachnid lives. Decepticons are easy to kill off in the show, but they still need a few here and there. Plus, maybe Airachnid is the leader for a group of Beast robots?

Also, there wasn't a Dreadwing figure shown...and we know what happened to him. lol Yeah, I know that not EVERY toy was shown in the line, but it still works out. Unless we see a Dreadwing Beast Hunters figure in the future for some reason.

 

Oh, GOD! That's ... ... exactly what I want to happen.

 

It's just a Cyberverse figure though. It's not like she's getting a new deluxe or the voyager her model deserved. Breakdown is coming with the Apex Armor and chances are he isn't coming back anytime soon.

 

I just asked this question in another thread. She has nothing to offer the Cons as she and Screamer dont see eye to eye... she tried to kill him and Megs at one point and she can control the Insecticons. BUT... if she somehow does get free, she has a lot to offer the Bots. At least in the sense of a lose alliance. Her and Arcee would never work together but you never know. They did say some TFs would change sides in season 3 right. Would it not be ironic if Airachnid did a Black Arachnia type thing?

 

Then... it all belongs to us?

 

Hey now, if Megatron can make Starscream his SIC again, why wouldn't he give Airachnid another chance too?
