Ahhhh, when you said you spent $85 bucks that amounts to only five figures so I figured you didn't find one. Hulk of course was the most likely as so many folks still can't find that guy.:thumbs2:

I haven't found any 6" Avengers figures in the Walmarts I've visited thus far, and I doubt I'll be able to find any unless the supply finally caught up with the demands.

Anyone know if the heads from the comic series Skrulls can be swapped with the Marvel Universe Skrull Soldiers? I hate the limited articulation, but love the headsculpt...and I'd hate to open these figures if I can't do something with them.

It's gotta be possible -- this review shows what the Avengers head looks like on the MU body.

One Per Case: The Avengers: Skrull Soldier #15

Near the end of the review, nice and clear pic.

Ok, I'm only w causual avengers collector, but have a few questions.

-re: 6" line. I've found all of them, but is there gonna be a fury, widow, colson(kinda doubt it)
-re: 33/4 line. kinda the same question. I found widow and he, is there gonna be single carded versions of fury , or we stuck using the IM2 version. (Not a soft goods fan)....or even expanded line to include the htf IM2 figs (wm, mandarin, etc...)
-re: marvel select line. Is there gonna be a bw? And they are more in scale with each other, right? The price point seems to 5 bucks higher than the Walmart versions. Seems like they'd be more in demand.
-is there an avengers (or probably marvel) equivalent website like tfw?

    Thanks guys.

    You rock, thanks a lot!

They did release a 6" Nick Fury during the Captain America line. It was exclusive to Walmart. Nothing has been announced as to whether they will re-release that figure under the Avengers line or a new mold for Nick Fury. No information about Black Widow or Coulson.

We are getting a 3.75" Nick Fury in the next wave along with the movie versions of the Chitauri/Skrulls. Although this one won't have the "soft goods" coat, it will have the same limited articulation seen in the res of the line.

Not sure about Marvel Select...haven't heard anything. I think people choose to run with the Walmart Exclusives because they are more like action figures they can play with as opposed to the Marvel Select which are more display worthy. Just my opinion though.

Hulk, Hawkeye, and the Chitauri Soldier are the only new Marvel Select movie Avengers figures coming out this year. They put out four Comic style Avengers figures through Disney, and they're re-releasing the Iron Man Mk. VI figure with better paint deco, as well as Cap & Thor from their movies, and that's it for the year Avengers-wise.

Marvel Select figures are also in a 7" scale, and yeah it greatly varies between playability & display. They're generally best when it comes to the bigger characters, but sometimes a smaller one can surprise you. I just got the Spidey from the Amazing Spider-Man movie this week & he's got nearly the same articulation points as the 3.75" Hasbro movie figure, including the ankle rockers. He's missing the double-jointed elbows, and his head's only a simple ball joint, but he also has boot & glove swivel cuts.

I picked up the Skrull before I knew he was shortpacked. While not a perfect toy, he is rather good. Gotta try the head swap when I get home as I love the uniform of the MU Skrull better.

Actually the Sam Jackson Fury is a repainted Winter Soldier, meaning he has the full range of articulation. I still am content with my Iron Man 2 version utilizing the Beachhead body.

Holy crap! They actually wised up and used a pre-existing fully articulated mold? Sweet!

I now have high hopes for the figure!

I skipped the Iron Man since it's just a repaint of the one I already have from the Iron Man 2 line.

I went to two different Walmarts today and each store had a fresh case of the 6" figures hanging on the pegs.I went to two other Walmarts yesterday and those stores didn't even have a spot for them,so I don't know what kind of distribution they have on this line.
