It won't be Iron Man, Cap or Thor that's for sure. Probably either War Machine or Hawkeye. Though who said they're killing a charecter off?
I'd love it to be Cap, as he's my least favorite of the bunch. If I had to guess though, probably Hawkeye, as this will be his first true appearance, and I think Cheadle is signed on for more than two Marvel movies.

I'd kill off Nick Fury, but only after he is developed as a father figure character to the rest of the team.
Coulson Everybody knows him..but it would be similar to Ironhide death in DOTM, no one would notice... Kill Bruce Banner and let him be th Hulk forever ( ed norton is the best , and after Ruffalo made that face on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, he terrible)
Honestly - I don't think anyone of the Avengers will die. Beat up broken, hurt and near dead yes... but actually die? No... That's for teh first scene of Avengers 2:Avenge Harder. I personally see Fury being thought of as dead and the after credits scene is him standing in a desert, or big white matrixy space alone or something obviously alive and just lost.
