Ah Mystery of Convoy........ back in 1996 with A.T.T (Alt.Toys.Transformers) me and Crazy Steve put together a 100% complete sprite sheet of the entire game...... I still have it somewhere too in .bmp. The nerd has 3 other 80s G1 games to do also. The Commondore 64 one he reviewed was actually the 2nd one.

The Transformers (the 1st one for Commondore 64) came in both tape and B drive form
The Transformers: Battle to save Earth (The one AVGN reviewed) also both tape and B drive
Super Lifeforms Transformers: Mystery of Convoy (or Comboy) (again what the AVGN reviewed)
Super Lifeforms Transformers: Headmasters (For the Famicom Disk System, he talked about it for a momemt)

The Nerd needs a lesson from you on how to review this game right.

Thing is once upon a time I dnoated a game to him (a good one his NES collection needed for completion) and told him in a letter with it about reviewing this game in homage, so I'm wondering if I got him to review it in some small way........

I re-watched your Review & the Nerds, parallel's can be drawn from them.
That could be just due to subject matter the content.

Or the Nerd could be homaging, an homage.
It would be interesting to know if he ever saw yours.

Seiously, there was a Headmasters game?
I was hoping he'd mention the Beast Wars games, the Japanese G1 game for the PS2, and the PS2 Armada game.

That cassette game kinda blows my mind a little bit. I had no idea they made cassette tapes that could do that.

Kinda puts the capabilities of the cassetticon's into perspective a little bit.

If you've never heard of the Angry Video Game Nerd and you're close to 30 yrs old, Please check him out. In this review he goes over Transformers for Commador 64 and the Famicom (Japan's NES). It's a hilarious review with a ton of cursing so be warned.
