50/50. I had a package show up in May that was due months before. I would still get a refund and replacement

 

They gave me a refund and assured me it would still arrive by the 28th. Then the customer service representative said they'd reschedule the delivery for Saturday, and it still wasn't delivered. They gave me a refund for the whole inconvenience and assured me the package would still arrive. So I figure cool I'll just buy something else while I wait for it to arrive. Then some other her jerk said now the package would not be delivered and if I wanted to get the toy I was supposed to get I'd have to get a replacement. So then I figured I want blitzwing more so I cancelled the second order so it could be returned and I could use the entire refund to reorder the blitzwing. Then here the bullshit part, the say they don't refund motherfucking promo credit so that means now it looks like I'll get nothing.

Is amazon usually this goddamn incompetent?! I'm so mad.

And that was a nope. Got emails/updates at both 2:00 and 7:00 that there was a disruption (how and why at the local depot is beyond me, but 'kay...) and said it'll be here tomorrow or Tuesday. (I'm guessing tomorrow.)

More often than not, you end up getting what you ordered. Worst case scenario, they'll refund you.

This can happen if you purchased from a 3rd party seller through Amazon. I'd check who was selling it to you at the time and if it was Amazon.com, call their customer service and ask for the US help desk and explain everything. If it was a 3rd party seller, it'll be a bit longer of a path to walk, but you'll get your money back at least.

 

I got the refund back and reordered blitzwing.

 

Good to know. Not that I have many issues with Amazon.

 

I need to go to Target anyway. Minimal extra effort.

 

It's too bad Amazon in the states can't be ran like the one in Japan. Got my tigertron shipped already. Now that's what I call service.

I don't know since it just got it recently on a non pre order. This is mp tigertron. Cheapest place to get it from though Amazon.jp.

 

Mine also shipped and, yes, it was a few days early. I wasn’t expecting it to arrive until October 3rd when I ordered it. It’s now scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, 9/30.

 

Amazon lost my Coneheads and gave me a refund. One week after their original delivery date I filed a lost package claim with USPS. I had my coneheads two days later.
