    I called them yesterday to complain. The customer service rep agreed to give me 30% ($19.xx) off for my trouble since they dont have any more currently and can't just ship a replacement. I didn't feel like arguing any further so I just took the 30%... I know another person in this thread said they ended up getting theirs for free but I thought the ~$20 discount due to the box damage was fair enough for me.

    I'm supposed to contact them later when USPS finally enters the delivery in the system.

    In the meantime, I'll have to watch the site like a hawk if they ever restock.

    Anyone else remembering when collecting Transformers was fun? :banghead: 

    Sigh.

    My package showed up(not coneheads, they haven't shipped yet)...
    They did end up shipping in the same box as the case of cat food but survived the trip with only minor card damage.
    Some smart/dumb/jack-ass put a sticker that says Slitherfang on the back of a Rung... :banghead: 
    Customer service refunded me for that one and gave me $5 AND thanked me for complaining nicely and patiently. Also no mention was made of me having to send the Rung back so I guess I won?
    I still would rather have gotten what I ordered as I have the feeling I won't see Slitherfang back in stock at a reasonable price when I have money AND I'll have to have more that just enough to pay for one as it won't ship for free alone.

    That's odd. My order hasn't gone from "Out for delivery" to "Delivered" yet and they helped me with my issue.


    Do all Slitherfangs have right eyes that look different than the left?

    I’m sorry lol. But honestly if they don’t ship soon and it’s delayed I may go find a scalper, some have been selling for 90 and I’m kinda ok with that idk

    Update - they told me to keep the item and said that a refund (I guess a full refund? I don't know, I guess I'll find out) or replacement would be possible once it shows as delivered. Since it is currently out of stock, they will issue a refund as soon as USPS updates their system to show that it has been delivered and that if it doesn't show as refunded by tomorrow, that I should contact them again.

    Oh, I should have mentioned that the stickers and the "16" aren't the only areas of damage (they were just the most obvious at first glance) - there are dents, tears, scuffs, as well. There's also smething rattling around in there, as well...great.

    So, I've yet to see any action on my coneheads, even though it still says Weds. delivery. I preordered right when the wishlist method was working and have Prime. What is clear, and really always was clear, is that Amazon bases all their releases on geography—if you don't live near the distribution center that has the stock then they won't ship to you.

    Anyways, where do i find the button/link to start a chat with CS? I'm on my order details page and I'm seeing any obvious contact button.

    NM: I see it's easier to find/use on the phone app than the website.

    Reading through this thread makes me wonder...would it help to preemptively complain?
    Like tell them I've seen over a dozen people reporting theirs wasn't packaged properly despite selecting the "ship in Amazon packaging" option and mine had better not show up damaged or I'ma be pissed?
    My order still says it will be here sometime between the 26th and 31st so I imagine they won't even ship it til next week....

    If it hasn't shipped yet, and it isn't possible to modify the order online, I wonder if it would be possible for a rep to contact the warehouse and change it up to be shipped in Amazon packaging?

    How exactly does that work? I'm in Virginia and my Amazon orders seem to come from all over the place. I see people getting stuff from Maryland and I'm not sure I've ever gotten one from that close. Today's order shipped from Ohio.

    The option to change it should be on your order screen...but a lot of people are saying they DID check the option but got just a sticker slapped on the box anyway.

    Ah, I missed that part. Contacting a rep probably wouldn't make a difference if it's still happening even if they checked that option.

    Mine shipped from Maryland for what it's worth.

    Can't complain if you haven't even received your package. Also, the shipping stuff would be a question for Amazon and it'll depend on the product that you've ordered.

    Forgive the extreme crappiness of my drawings but it doesn't seem to want to show up right in photos. It's like the left eye is missing a line that shows up quite distinctly in the right.
    It's like this on all 3 of them.

    At least in my case they slapped the Slitherfang sticker on a Rung...but why even do this? Seems fishy because actual Slitherfangs don't have this sticker...so why does this sticker even exist other than to stick on things that are not Slitherfang?
