Amazon, just in the last few days has changed their shipping policy, They will no longer ship to Japan ( and maybe other countries too? I am in Japan ) ! Crap. I wonder if thats all due to the coronovirus thing ? You cant get a lot of transformers stuff here in japan so its been one of my only options to get things here for a reasonable price

With seige and Earthrise , it is . Over half the line of earthrise is takara Tomy exclusives so far and they are extra expensive when ordering direct from them . Amazon Japan and even importing from amazon USA is cheaper than ordering direct from takara tomy mall .

Then stuff like the fembots needed to complete Orthia is not sold here ( green light and Lancer ) . Or stuff like half of the generations select toys not sold here . So yeah not easy since seige and especially earthrise

After compulsively refreshing my shopping list, I finally managed to snag an Earthrise Optimus Prime at retail through Amazon. I feel kind of gross spending that much money on a toy during a pandemic...but, hey, I'm saving more than that on gas at this point.

I saw him popping up at retail a couple of times a day, but clicking the button to buy him always came up with an empty shopping cart. It was soOoOOoo frustrating. (Again, this was more of an amusing kind of frustration to distract myself from being trapped in my house for over a week while the pandemic sweeps through. Don't judge me.)

Maybe I should've downloaded that camel app...
