You are correct. This item cannot be shipped to the US. I'm not sure why some stuff works and some don't. But I had this issue with MP Cordon not being able to ship overseas.

 

The best answer I've gotten from Amazon about that is that the item is at a warehouse not setup for international shipping. Its why availability on pre-order items fluctuates, as the international-capable warehouses get stock allocated to them and reserved.

 

And for goodness sake don’t email them. Last time that happened we didn’t get global delivery for almost 9 months.

Same thing happened to my Marvel Legends Professor X preorder that was supposed to ship March 1, but got cancelled like Feb 28, as well as a couple figures in the Marvel Legends Kingpin wave in January.

Think Amazon knows they have a flaw in the pre-order system so they push the fulfillment date out further for some pre-orders now so pre-orders don't get cancelled. i.e. Marvel Legends Caliban wave- ship July 1, but I just got it fulfilled this week. Also, like Studio Series Hightower Jan 1 2020, but most usual online stores have him listed for August 2019 release.

I ended up getting a "Like New" CW Prowl from Amazon Warehouse earlier this week and it showed up today. It's funny how I never could pull the trigger on this figure when he was at the store for months and then he disappeared, only to reappear like this. I took it as a sign and snapped him up for a bit less than CW retail price.

Most random thing that happened. He's the only character of this mold I own so it's not a huge deal if I turn out not to like him (chances are he's better than PotP Jazz anyway)

It's so odd I wonder why they have so many. The trick is I wouldn't know what to do with multiples of him right now since I have no modding plans ATM.

How do you apply an AJ e-giftcard to a preorder that you've ready preordered.

 

After you add the gift card to your Amazon Japan account I think you can click on the order details and there should be a button that says 'apply this gift card amount' to the order? You could contact their live chat help for better assistance, it's in English, or whatever language you have set on the site browser.

I know Amazon gift cards purchased in the U.S. for Amazon U.S. can't be used on foreign Amazon sites and vice versa.

Yeah that's how I found the UK listing by noticing their U.S listing through their global store. The actual U.S listing will probably have a completely different link and ASIN since this one is linked with a EAN (european article number) in stead of a UPC.
Of course once I find it I'll post it, unless of course someone beats me to it.   So far though I've found nothing.
