    We don't, unfortunately.

I did check with the couple next door and they said they saw it leaning against our door earlier, so it was sitting there for at least a little bit. The guy thought his girlfriend might have taken it in by mistake, but we had a look through their pile of Amazon stuff and it wasn't there.

Yeah. I contacted CS and basically the robot said there's nothing they'll do until Tuesday, claiming the package was marked delivered by mistake. I roll my eyes at that, but as long as I either get a refund or the figure, I guess it's alright.

Just cancelled both. Might get them while on sale. Given the history of the last exclusive sets; grimlock+mirage and red alert+skyswipe, these will go on F'ed up box Amazon warehouse sale. Will consider then.

Why? Because of the mostly unknown Jackpot, plus his head is fucked up. Also, IDk who the F huffer clones are. I mean 1, maybe 2 of huffer is enuff but 4? LOL. Milk me Hasbro. Milk me!

Next time you order from Amazon, look up delivery methods.
    Look into Amazon lockers.
They're more secure than a front porch and weather resistant.
My apartment complex has a good set of them.
And they're not just for Amazon.
UPS will put their Amazon deliveries in there as well.
It's way safer than a porch delivery.
The only downsides are that you may not have s set near you, and you only get 3 days to pick up your package.

Sorry for the loss of your tiger.
    Hope you get the refund.
Keep an eye on your Walmart's.
He is starting to appear there.

I'm not sure you understand the phrase "milk me" Lol. these are actual characters that they're doing in Puffer and Road Ranger. Milking it would be constant unnecessary repaints without changing anything at all. These are obscure characters that did actually exist.

    Puffer - Transformers Wiki
    Road Ranger - Transformers Wiki

Also the other one is Pipes. Who was essentially Huffer. And is a main character in the show. Not sure what you mean about being milked. Lol

You know, with that attitude I wonder why you considered buying them in the first place. It sounds to me like you didn't want them.

Before anyone starts ranting how these will "stick around forever" - Let's not forget not in the too-distant past where Phantomstrike Skywarp, the Coneheads, Paradron Medics, Autobot Alliance packs went OOS and suddenly everyone needed one.

Calling Pipes a "main character" on the show abuses the term. He was on the show. He had maybe 2 episodes where he featured prominently. There are dozens of characters that had more screen time.

Puffer was an international variant of Pipes that used Huffer's mold, but to my knowledge was not an official character until the Golden Disk collection. It is a nice shout out to the fans to finally incorporate the character into the universe officially, but I totally get that his appeal will be limited.

Significant difference - all of those sets featured characters that were (by some definitions) "core" G1 characters from 84-85, putting them in the sweet spot of G1 collectors. Skywarp and the Coneheads also are "team" characters any seeker collector would want. On top of that production of the Coneheads, Paradron Medics, and Autobot Alliance were hampered by the pandemic, and many pre-orders went unfulfilled. In contrast Skywarp was readily available after his initial release. He took time to jump up in demand and value.

This is my main point - Skywarp (and the others) were around for a while, with many thinking they'd continue to do so. But once they sold out, anyone who waited suddenly came down with a case of the regrets which is what sent prices skyrocketing.

In other words. Don't gamble the wait. It won't end well.

Oh I'm definitely not waiting for sales or clearance or any of that. I either buy as soon as possible, or pass on items entirely. If I didn't want something at MSRP, I probably wouldn't at 25% off either. And I haven't had to mess around with scalpers for years!

While I don't follow this philosophy, man, this is smart. I tend to talk myself into figures I wouldn't typically get when the price drops and most of them I'm like, "Why?" A lot of times it's custom fodder.
But the ones I don't I'm typically thrilled with!

Agreed, if someone thinks that they might regret it at all. The Huffer clones are nice for me, but not critical to complete the collection. I won't be upset if I don't get them, but I'll bite if they drop some.
It's like Gen Selects Shockwave. I had the grey figure as my Shockwave when I was a kid, it'd work great on my alt timeline "Decepticons win in the future" shelf, so I watched to see if it'd ever go down. It got 30% off and I gambled it'd go down further, lost, yet I'm not upset about getting to keep $35.

This makes no sense. If I want something at full price I'm certainly still going to want it for less money. I'm not going to pay full price for something just to prove some bizarre point to myself.

You are 100% correct in that. Honestly its just unnecessary and not true to say the mold is being "milked" because we are getting characters that existed previously, or were a fan creation that Hasbro acknowledged (in the case of Puffer). But you are correct about Pipes, I used main character a bit liberally. lol

That wouldn't make sense, true, because it's not what I said:

If I DIDN'T want something at MSRP, I probably won't want it for 25% less.

It helps me manage my impulse buying and enjoy what I do buy.

Yeah. Hasbro “milks” every mold they can. Five uses of Huffer, six or more of Cliffjumper, 8 or 9 Megatron… it’s a thing. It mitigates costs and helps cover typical single use molds like Apeface. No one has to buy anything. Giving fans what they want, even if it’s an obscure corner of fandom, is usually a good thing.

Has anyone tried to get some kind of refund or discount on Jackpot because of the head alignment issue that seems to be every single copy? I may just leave him in alt mode...forever.
