I dunno, I think perhaps back when they were updating the delivery date from its original ETA of November 1st, they made a mistake and made it 12/15/21 instead of 11/15/21, since Monday is the 15th...

 

Also got charged for the JP set, says it'll be here Monday.

Pleasantly surprised to have the Jurassic Park set coming sooner.
I keep wavering on whether or not I really want it (my collection is all WFC/SS86 of g1 characters) but I keep hearing that the BW Megatron mold is cool.

Got shipping notice for JP93 Set. Looks to be a Friday delivery.

 

Last I checked my JP set is 6 stops away. Didn't check on the other two early orders.

 

I haven't been charged for the JP set yet but it does say that it is arriving Monday now.

 

Do you have any experience with the original BW Megatron? That mold was fun but had issues. This is a good update to that, but it doesn't really resolve the issues, either.

 

If you wanted to experience that mold, I'd just get the BW Megatron or the Target recolor, forgot his name. The problem with this mold is that the thigh covers are easily snapped off if not transformed correctly.

IIMHO, this set is overpriced just to get the Ford explorer with that stupid hat. I guess its due to Jurassic Park licensing.

 

HasTak and etailers were being conservative with their release/delivery estimates due to distribution issues. Now that the supply chain is getting sorted out things are starting to race back in stock. Around here we went from having almost nothing in terms of Kingdom to drowning under Wave 3s and in some cases 4. I just found a Soundwave at Target when we haven't had Core class here since January. This is after a similar shortage of Studio turned in to Slugs as far as the eye could see.

Meanwhile I'm looking across the board at preorders and sites I've been tracking stuff I need at and they're *all* getting updated rapidly. My Cyberverse Volcanicus from Amazon went from "We will email you with a delivery..." to "Dec 17" to "Shipping" in less than 2 days. It arrived earlier this week.

I dunno if things have changed but BW Megatron isn't that easy to get at MSRP in the US anymore. At least last I was poking around. You can try to find a T-Wreck at Target but YMMV...especially if you don't have a Target nearby.

 

I have seen a BOATLOAD of BW Megatron lately, assuming you mean the Kingdom one. Like I can build a road off of how many have gotten restocked around me.

 

Oh weird. I've just seen *one* recently with Magnus/Galvatron being the bulk of what's restocked.

 

One store near me legitimately has roughly 8-10 of them. Its nuts.

 

Was he repacked with Magnus in W2? Either you're getting straight cases of him meant for etailers or you're getting hammered with W1/W2 as the supply chain ramps back up.

I'm actually reminded of the last wave of PotP Voyagers where a local Walmart had (no kidding) one or two Inferno but then a dozen Grimlock. It was, as you put it, nuts.
