As a seller on there yes they can. They just select the cancel order option on their end and check the option that there was an error in price when asked why they are canceling it. You can however leave them negative feedback in return. That is probably why they are asking if it is ok to cancel it or for you to do it. That way they don't have to go through the hassle of having Amazon remove the feedback if you happen to leave a negative comment. I agree they should always double check the price before listing, but I even make a few mistakes every now and then.

Yes you can leave them bad feedback, but I would just try to work it out with them.

 

Posted this in the deals thread, but Amazon has a lot of the Takara AOE figures at really good prices. Snarl, Crosshairs, Scorn, Drift, the already mentioned Black Knight Grimlock, all of them are barely over the price of their Hasbro counterparts.

Eh, as a straight repaint of Alpha Bravo, I can sort of understand that. He's definitely the one I wanted the least out of the set (and of course, the only one I've been able to get ahold of.)

It's not unreasonable to think that Amazon will get restocked eventually, right? I'm kicking myself for not picking these guys up when they were in stock, as I figured I could find them in store, but that's proven to be nothing but an exercise in futility. I just started collecting, so I don't know if this wave release is business as normal, and they'll be fairly easy/commonplace to find for decent prices online in a month or three, or if this has been a giant screw up from the get go.

Either way, I think I've learned my lesson. When the Combaticons come around, I'll just order straight from BBTS or TFSource and save myself the headache/frustration. </rant>

 

He does have a new head, its not a straight repaint. I agree though (I have him and all the wave 3 deluxes) that he is the least interesting.

All right got a bit of a situation. I bought two items from a seller. It was a fair price, they later emailed me and asked me to cancel the order that they listed the wrong price. I emailed back I did not want to cancel and asked what we could work out. They replied item sent from Japan and wait 6 weeks. Cool. Yesterday I received 1 of said items from a U.S. Shipper I did not order. I contacted the Japanese seller and they said I would not receive item for 2-3 more weeks?? Wtf so if they did not send it where did this mystery item come from

 

Seems to me that they are trying to screw me out of the second item

 

I'm wondering if the Japanese seller found a US seller that had the item you received for about what you paid and just bought it from that seller and had it shipped to you??

I'd say so. I would forget about whatever pricing you got and just concentrate on getting my money back - which by the way should be no problem since Amazon will take care of you if the seller doesn't.
