Finally got around to ordering CW Devastator, but it looks like it is finally out of stock from Amazon Fulfillment… Only used left. Is this an in/out item, or has this finally ended?

That's interesting, wonder if it will pop up again. I never had Devy before but was hoping this would hit discount or something since I didn't want to pay full price. Hoping maybe they give him the WFC style treatment in the next couple years, then I won't feel bad about missing out.

On an unrelated note, I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on a return to Amazon JP. Recently got a figure (Revoltech Bakugo from My Hero Academia) but it was defective with the upper right arm actually being another upper left arm turned around, making the elbow bend the wrong way and everything. Requested the replacement which I got today. Waited to receive the new one before I took the old one to ship out. I thought that shipping the defective one back was supposed to be free but the lady at the store wanted to charge me $250!! That's gotta be way out of the realm of what Amazon JP would reimburse me for right? So do i just keep the extra figure and eat the $94 cost instead? It just kinds sucks because i can't use or sell it because of the misassembly

 

My guess is it's not coming back, so I'd order it used in that case.

 

That $140 price appears to be an Amazon warehouse deal. After that it jumps to $240. I agree that if you're on the fence, now is the time.

 

I’ve returned things to Amazon Japan twice. Both times the shipping cost was absurd, but they did refund it. Just gotta be comfortable sitting on a big shipping charge until they get the item back.

 

I don't get that at all, they are all still sorted by when it was ordered. It's really stupid that they removed this filter.

I have the android app and the orders are all mixed and I lost the option to sort by open orders.

 

I have two recently ordered items on top, then maybe a dozen other already reviewed things then another pre order item.

Whatever the case, I really just don't understand why they removed the option.

 

I felt like such an idiot all weekend. Long story short, I was hesitating for weeks to get CW Devastator who was available again at reasonable price. Money was not really the issue, but I couldn’t bring myself to spend that much on a (big) toy. Also I kept thinking we might get a better one in a few years. Anyway, got a pretty good raise and bonus friday so I told my wife I’m gonna treat myself and order one. And then I got to Amazon and it was out of stock. Classic. This is so me. And it was there the day before, I remember popping again in my recommendation.

So I kept refreshing all weekend and monday also, hopping it would come back in stock. Nope, looks like it was gone for good this time. Then tuesday morning, there he was. Back in stock june 5th. Ordered ! Half an hour later I checked for fun and it was gone again. I might have snagged a cancelled order, I don’t know. The weird thing is that my estimated delivery was june 10th and now it’s may 29th. Let’s see...

 

Awesome! Glad you got one! I haven't taken mine out of the box yet because I'm preparing to move, but really excited to finally open it (and a bunch of others like Predaking, Tripticon, Sky Linx, etc)

Sticker shock. Yup, been there many times. That's why I don't have any of the Titans, unless you count Devastator. I couldn't have swung Metroplex at the time, but probably could have managed Fort Max and Trypticon. But ouch. And I assume that Omega Supreme is gone by now.

But hey, congratulations on the raise and bonus! And Devastator is cool. The individual bots aren't spectacular, but combined... intimidating, just like how Kup practically dropped a gear when he saw him combine in 2005. And he's going to look so awesome with the SS86 Dinobots. (Do you suppose that Slash will be way too small to hang out with them?)

 

Not exactly new or an amazing sale, but Amazon has Brunt for $20.69. I recall some people fearing that they missed him....
