Not that I know of. I just have a hard time that one figure from the case drops in price while the second one stays at the same price. Oh well, at least the price isn't going up like it sometimes does.

Not to go off topic, but I was wondering that too, he doesn't look voyager? He's just a car. I was surprised by his price too, but Primal went $23.99 so this might too. if you pre-order it you get the pre-order guarantee price.

 

A pet peeve of mine is that I don't usually preorder figures unless they're exclusives. He's Voyager Class because of parts count, complexity and accesories, but confirmed to be the size of an average Deluxe. If I'm totally honest I've have rather him be a Deluxe and scrap the gimmicks like the visor, repair spray and pizza cutter. Only accesories I actually like are the effects parts.

 

Really didn't need the guns either, didn't use them in the film. Heck, I leave them in the box since I'm afraid of scraping paint trying weapon storage.

Also, I don’t care about all the accessories. I don’t even like the blast effects. I’ve got the damn things in a bag and they never get used. I don’t even know which goes to who.

 

Perhaps "pet peeve" isn't the best term to use, I said it mostly because its what popped in my head when I thought about it and translated it, since English isn't my first language.

Anyway, I really enjoy blast effects, but don't care all that much about one scene/episode accesories. I want the Centurion Drone pack mostly for the weapons but could go without the Ravage cage or the radar dish.

Hmm, the Ironhide and Prowl pack is, um, only $150 at TFSource. I can only assume they got an Asian case in.

However, even the early birds who got theirs from RK, it would've been around $90-ish after S&H when they had it in stock.

 

Do y'all think the same thing that's happening with the dirge and ramjet set, ironhide and prowl set and the medic set, will happen to the other Odyssey sets?

 

Probably not. The clones have already been clearanced once or twice, and the remaining sets don't have any real high-demand characters. Mmmmaybe the Barricade/P-CP set? Big maybe though.

But it is entirely possible, even likely, that one or more of those sets will be comparable to Siege Skywarp, or the Target Micromaster set... available for months, people wait for a sale, and whoops, the sale never comes, they're all gone, and now the aftermarket is asking an obscene amount for them.

the big difference to me to Skywarp was that He was Instock for several months before he sold out and the prices sky rocketed.

Autobots and coneheads weren’t even released yet when the preorders closed.

Yeah a lot more orders are available right now due to all the cancellations or etailer switching, I cancelled anything I found already and whatever I could get faster from cmd store or GameStop etc.

 

Devastator arrived at around 2 today. Messed with him when I got home from work. If I’m being honest I can see the complaints about the individual bots, but the combined figure is quite nice. Scales well and no noticeable QC issues.

 

I was able to get several great pre-order in Studio Series like Hot-Rod,Kup,Blurr. I cancelled my BBTS order which i REALLY wanted cause its more expensive to go that route. I also got a order in for Grand Admiral Thrawn. Then got 2 orders in for Death Troopers. I did Commander Cody but hes at GameStop. I'm pretty happy all i was able to get a pre-order in for at Amazon since i can't really chase this all down. Plus i can wait cause I'm not 1 to be in a big hurry cause getting them later gives me something to look forward to that 1 day bored.

 

Devastator reissue came today, rlly happy with it my only nitpick is that some of the joints for the individual bots are just a tiny touch too loose for my tastes

 

I really hope Amazon gets off their asses and ships out the stuff for Kingdom and Studio Series already because they’re the only ones that are actually fucking reliable on delivering orders to my area!
