Alright, I really hate to do this, but I think we need a club for all us fans who think Alt. Prime sucks!

I just got him last Friday from BBTS, and well...this is the first time I have been disappointed in an Alternator. I just really really don't like his transformation. His chest area is just too awkward with the wheels getting in the way.

That and his doors and front fenders keep popping off. Whats the deal with that? And I can't seem to get him back into truck mode. Very frustrating!!!

Also the head sculpt is good, but the paint job on it?? Reminds me of the Titanium series paint jobs. How the paint looks wet, or runny if you will.

I suppose the fact that I paid $30 for him at BBTS has something to do with the fact that I don't really like him either. I chose to pay that much for him, but I guess I'm just disappointed in the final product.

So who is with me on this? Or am I alone? Either way, lets hear what everyone else thinks!

 

I don't think I can possibly hate on an Alternator or a BinalTech... I just can't... It'd have to have like one wheel, no head, one door, etc for me to hate it... 

 

if it had no elbows, knees, or any movement of ANY kind, then I MIGHT hate it  

 

It might as well be G1 then... 

 

Whoa! Is he really that bad? And I was thinking of picking him up...I guess I will wait for more reviews and pictures before I make my decision.

I'm out of the loop in terms of TF toys but I heard that the BT series won't be having a BT Optimus. Is it true?

I think that G1 Prime had all of those joints.

 

Elbows yes... But I don't recall him having knees... :huh

 

G1 Prime had knees, and he can stand on his knees. But he couldn't kick his legs forward.

 

I think there's enough people out there happy to bash on Alt. Optimus Prime (justified or not) without formalizing it into some kind of official group.

I didn't see any "He Man Toy-haters Club" announcements for BM Nightscream, Energon Optimus Prime, or "use of yellow and baby blue in Universe".  

 

As soon as I find Alt Prime in a store, I promise to love and cherish him unconditionally, with all my heart, until the day I die.

You should join my "Never will complain or bitch about Alternators/BinalTech" club... Which I founded after constantly bitching about Ravage...  

After Ravage I swore never to do so again...  

 

I like him.

It saddesns me to see people "hate" on a toy...

There's been some Alternators I haven't bought just because they aren't what I like, but that doesn't mean I hate them.

 

sell or trade him if you don't like him... a lot of us Alternators Anonymous guys would be happy to take him off your hands...

 

I must say, this was somewhat of a joke on my part. I haven't spent enough time with him yet to say I really hate him. But I just wanted to start a club!!!

I don't plan on selling or trading him quite yet. Since I have all the Alternator's so far, I can't get rid of him yet. I just hope I don't feel this way about any more Alts. any time soon, because then I might have to drop the line. Which makes me a very sad panda to think about it!

 

I don't have it yet...I doubt I'll HATE it but it does look pretty craptacular.

 

I think ALT Optimus Primus is the bee's knees. And the bee's kidneys. And the bee's spleen. And all of the bee's other parts as well. Don't be a hater, you bought it after all (for an inflated price). Rejoice in your purchase and just bury him at the back of youyr display so only his shoulder pads peek above the other ALT's heads.

 

I wouldn't say I hate Alt. Prime but I do think that the mold could be used for ....I don't know TRailbreaker or Ironhide.

 

If you really dislike it so much, sell it to somebody who will appreciate it!
