There's two, Steve and Sam. They both have their own comic too, Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty is Steve's comic while Captain America: Symbol of Truth is Sam's comic.

People forget Punisher started out as a Spider-man villain. But got popular and got his own series. So just write him as on the wrong side of the law trying to do some good but considered by cops and superheroes to be going to far, have him constantly trying to avoid both as they would try to capture and take him down on sight and have him going after truly horrible people like child traffickers, fentanyl dealers, serial killers and so on. But show how he’s got mental issues and this is taking a toll on him physically and mentally so even those who help him say he should stop. Maybe he even tries but sees corruption, bad stuff going on around him and goes all Deathwish again. Then at then end of the arc have him in jail and do a year of comics about that. Maybe even have superheroes coming to see him in jail and using him like Hannibal Lecter. There are many ways to do it without glorifying him.

Which is so strange considering Castle loathes corrupt cops and those who abuse their power. Half the RL cops who idolize him would been killed by him on principle.

Same with all the "patriot" groups that co-opted his symbol.

I think that would require them actually reading the source material.

I don't think reading or reading comprehension is super high on those folks' skill lists.

During the 70’s for a short time Stan Lee changed the Black Panther to the Black Leopard due to a certain group using the name, but then decided better of it and went back to Panther. Certain groups are making more of this than it really is, and I don’t think they read the source material either. Just found another thing to scream injustices about. Seriously thats all some people do now search for things to get mad about online. Then use their outrage to get more followers.

Seeing as how "No political discussion" is one of the main rules here, I'd say they aren't the ONLY ones who we should question whether or not they can read...

Yeah, it might be time to retire Punny. He used to work because what he did was farfetched back in the day but that s—t is now a reality. And yah don’t go glorifying murder (even if you think it’s just.)

I forgot about him. I don’t dislike the character, it’s just the modern climate that makes him untenable.

There is the 616 Her/Ayesha/Kismet. Wonder if they plan to not acknowledge that version.

Anyone going to read Sins of Sinister? I keep waiting for Franklin Richards to return to prominence and wondered if this is it.

Read the first issue and it seems interesting, although I'm also enjoying what Marvel is doing with the X-men universe

Omnibus sale on Comixology is starting. No official link, but most digital omnibuses on Comixology/Kindle are down to $20. I picked up the digital Annihilation Omnibus and the Hickman X-men omnibus. I was very tempted by the John Byrne F4. That’s a hell of a lot of comics for $20

What Mister Fantastic Did That Was So Bad, Revealed (FF Spoilers)

When the Baxter Building was attacked by a horde of invaders from the Negative Zone, Mr. Fantastic was forced to take drastic action. He shunted the Baxter Building and the surrounding city block into a temporal pocket for protection. Everyone contained within will reappear, safe and sound–but in one year's time. Among the displaced are both the Thing and Alicia's children, as well as Franklin and Valeria Richards. Mr. Fantastic's decision caused a rift among the team and left them without a home.

After a period of separation, the foursome has reunited and found forgiveness.

Yeah, Reed has done worse things (eg his attack on Franklin). And anyway, they reconciled.
