Yeah, that book was a real piece of work.

I mean, we all already know what's happening with the T-mists, but how anyone can read this and actually like the Inhumans is beyond me.

 

It's not like this is the first time they did this, he was one of the first to go during the Legacy Virus storyline.

 

He's the perfect death, so easy to bring back. Consequences without consequences.

 

Did i read that wrong? Jean was Roommates with Misty Knight. Who cage was supposed to have a date with and why he went to the apartment, Cyclops was mad because Jean had just died (dark Phoenix) and took it out on cage, Wolverine and Nightcrawler even had a "whoops" moment after....

 

Whoops. No, looks like I read it wrong. Totally glossed over part where Luke said he was going to Misty's place...

 

Cable and Deadpool teamed up again in a story call Split Second and if I remember, Cable and Deadpool do some funky time travel stuff to pull together different versions of him in the time line that helps him go back to normal, robot arm and everything. It's been a little while since I read it.

I wanted to like this book but man, it just didn't click for me. Seeing it so ingrained in Civil War II according to that interview means I won't go back anytime soon.

Hmm spunds interesting, let's see where Slott goes with this. I do wonder why Marvel didn't bring back Gwen for BND. Seems like they really want to but don't. I remember Loeb and J Scott Campbell were supposed to have a Gwen centric Spidey project a long time go but nothing ever came up.

 

Now that's a rewrite from Slott I can accept.

Hopefully with 616 Gwen and her dad back in the spotlight we'll be able to get more from them than their original (and in Gwen's case untimely) deaths did for Spider-Man.

 

So it's a zombie gwen who hates peter and blames him for her dads death. Blah. This is why I dumped Spider-Man. Dan loves to mess up the female cast in Spider-Man.

 

I've never been a fan of the "tweaks" he makes to continuity. Oh well.

 

Considering his Spider-sense never went off and her Dad is back as well, she may not be as angry as we think, as her Dad liked Peter and knew what really happened.

 

Yeah that BC article really gave off the wrong vibe, especially when you get to that scene with Captain Stacy - it's possible things ended up different - unless that gets waved off as part of Jackal's plan to get Gwen on his side.

 

I love how gwen is angry at peter yet she had an affair with his greatest enemy and had two kids wihout telling peter who tried to kill him. Lets see peter bring that up to her!

 

Do we have an official date of when the Slapstick solo series starts this month? I'm planning on picking it up along with Gwenpool,Silk and Wasp.
