For the last few days, I have been watching Ultraman Ace and this series has what’s probably my favorite opening theme song of the franchise within the Showa Era and the concept of two people becoming one Ultraman is very interesting to see. Would have loved to see that idea be brought back for a future series/season somewhere down the line. TAC, the defense team of this series, sadly does leave quite a bit to be desired so far.

 

Tsuburaya will probably never try that again given how much backlash they got for it back then.

They get rid of Minami halfway through the show, leaving only Hokuto to be Ace.

TAC is by far the worst team of the Showa era.

Hmmm, I missed that bit of info. That must mean they're planning to do several Toku titles.

 

Here’s hoping that this means most, if not all, of the other Metal Heroes shows would get official releases in the US themselves somewhere down the line.

 

As of late, I have been re-watching the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and I should be able to finish said season either today or tomorrow since I’m down to its final four episodes. Even did some more re-watching of Boukenger before that including the introduction arc to that show’s own sixth ranger.

 

Currently up to episode 26 on my Boukenger re-watch which happened to be one of my favorite episodes for this series and I got to say, some of the show’s previous episodes are surprisingly much better than I remembered from the first time I watched them.

It’s been a little over a year but I am officially back to watching Fiveman. On an related note, I just found out that Abaranger is finally making its official release in the US by Shout Factory in two months from now.

 

Yep, it was just revealed a little while ago and comes out in Nov.

 

Just watched some episodes of Fiveman. 34 down, 14 to go and it will be another Sentai series I’ve watched in its entirety since Kiramager.

 

Just finished episode 44 of Fiveman. I’m at the show’s endgame now.

 

Even though, I'm mostly stalled on my Toku viewings for this month, I inexplicably bought myself Ultraseven and Ultraman Gaia sets off on Amazon today.

 

Redman is coming back to Tsuburaya Channel.

 

I ended up re-watching episodes 8 and 33 of Ultraman Tiga as part of my Halloween marathon for this year.

 

Guessing off the top of my head, the one with the witch and Vampire City, right?
