I'm just about finished with the 36th episode of Denziman. It's yet another fun episode for this series. Can't believe I'm already two-thirds through it and I might even be finished with Denziman very soon. I am also very close in finishing on my Magiranger re-watch with only 9 episodes remaining. Planning to watch Flashman next and then Battle Fever J, at least among the seasons of Super Sentai that I have yet to watch so far besides Zenkaiger and Donbrothers.

 

As of today, I am up to episode 11 of my Timeranger rewatch, watched episode 23 of Space Sheriff Gavan, watched two more episodes of Denziman and just started rewatching the second season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

 

For something different, I ended up watching the Super Hero Taisen Net Movies. They are very fun and entertaining to watch and I especially got a real kick out of the Rider and Sentai murder mysteries and how the characters from both franchises interacted with each other.

 

I am now officially down to the final four episodes of Denziman that made up its endgame. After today, it's another Sentai season I can officially cross off on my watchlist. Five Showa era Sentai seasons down, seven to go. I'm also 20 episodes away from finishing up on Space Sheriff Gavan.

I finished the Blu-Ray set for Black today. Well, the episodes, not the bonus features. I'll tackle those this weekend.

I managed to finish Denziman just the other day with Kenji Ohba and Machiko Soga being among the show's major highlights. Daigoro Oume, as played by the former, is easily my favorite ranger for this series and he might even be one of my top favorite blue rangers in all of Super Sentai. I can definitely see why Kenji Ohba does get to go on to play as the title character in Space Sheriif Gavan. Also full disclosure, IC is a very good doggo who I hope gets all the pets in the sky. 

All in all, Denziman is a very good series for what it is and I'm currently trying to decide where the series would be in my (eventual) updated version of my Sentai rankings list. Same with Kiramager, Fiveman, Maskman, and Bioman.

 

Making a slight detour from watching Kamen Rider Fourze, on which I am enjoying so far, to re-watch a few more episodes of Magiranger. I should be done with the revisiting of that particular Sentai series over the weekend since I'm now down to its final five episodes. I am considering re-watching Gekiranger sometime after this. Also planning to re-watch Shinkenger somewhere down the line and, if I have time, do the same with Goseiger and Gokaiger as well.

As of now, I just finished the 10th episode of Battle Fever J. I seriously love Kenji Ohba as Shiro Akebono/Battle Kenya.

 

Watched some more episodes of Battle Fever J yesterday and so far, there hasn’t been a single episode where I didn’t crack a smile at least once. Really helps that the ranger cast for this series are very likable and fun to watch despite not caring much for the suits.

I'm now 30 episodes into Battle Fever J and this show is so much more fun than it had any right to be.

 

Watched several more episodes of Battle Fever J and I should be able to finish this series very soon considering I now have ten episodes left to the series and with it, I will officially be halfway through the Super Sentai seasons from the Showa era with Goranger, JAKQ, Sun Vulcan, Goggle V, Changeman and Flashman being the ones that are currently unaccounted for. Although, once I finished BFJ, I'm planning to continue where I left off on Kamen Rider Fourze and finishing that series and maybe start off on watching either Kamen Rider Blade or Flashman or maybe Jiban or even Shaider afterwards. I haven't quite figure that out yet.

 

Managed to finish Battle Fever J just the other day and I think this series, like Bioman, might officially be among my honorable mentions despite of a couple of major flaws, like the first Miss America not doing much of anything after the first several episodes and its endgame arc is somewhat lackluster, regarding the Super Sentai seasons I have seen so far. I really need to update my series ranking list at some point. I'm also officially back to watching Kamen Rider Fourze and I almost forgot how much I really enjoyed the show's main cast and how much fun this show really is. I even watched a couple more episodes of Space Sheriff Gavan including the one that first introduced San Dorva and Witch Kiba into the series. I might even finish that series sooner than I thought.

 

I just found out that Jiro Dan, a Japanese actor that played as Hideki Go/Ultraman Jack in Return of Ultraman has passed away.

As of now, I inexplicably find myself watching Android Kikaider as in the original live-action Toku series from the early 70's rather than the anime. Although I do need to get back to watching where I left off on the latter series at some point. Thank you, Tokuzilla.net.

On another note, I just ordered my copies of Kamen Rider Ryuki, MegaBeast Investigator Juspion, Ultraman Zero Movie Collection, and Ultraman Geed, all on Blu-Ray, from Amazon as sort of birthday presents for myself, if this makes any sense, as of today.
