Heh, scampers... I bet he's fuzzy.
Anyway, man, I've been pushing an Amazon.com or even a joint online retailer idea since Thundercracker and Prime last year. You make it a BBTS/Amazon/TFSource thing and there'll be plenty left through BBTS just because people refuse to buy from them.
I was okay with being able to buy multiple Skywarps for 20 bucks each.

From my experience, and you can take it with a grain of salt, if an item (and in this case) an exclusive store release of a high demand masterpiece figure, is usually found easily later after the hype has died down after an initial mad rush to get one as soon as it was released. This was not the case with MP Prime (Mp-10) who was easily found at TRU, albeit for a limited time, and then poof it was gone, never to be seen or heard from again. Many collectors including me, foolishly did not get one at that time. The rational to reserve your Soundwave now was based on the perceived scarcity of MP Prime-which is actually due more to poor distribution than lack of quantity. I could be wrong.

I am willing to bet Soundwave will be more readily found in a few weeks.

    Yup^

I'd put money down that the OP is refreshing the TRU.com page as we speak.

Also surprised that this thread is still going.

Yeah, when MP Prime went up online in the UK, he sold out quickly. Went up again, sold out quickly.
But you could walk into any UK Toys R Us and pick one up off the shelf today.

That is the most hilariously petty reason for a boycott I've ever heard.

"That thing that went on sale today wasn't on sale at the precise hour they said it'd be on sale but in fact earlier".

But it wasnt at midnight for one. Second, there were multiple sources saying that it was going to be around 2-3 am, another around 9 am which I BELIEVE was actually from someone linked with TRU. NONE of these time were correct.

Not to mention that TRU facebook says that they will be putting up another shipment in late August. I think people just need to calm down a bit. He hasn't even been out for 12 hours, you never know, he may be showing up in stores like the likes of MP Thundercracker.

In todays world/economy if you don't have a large online presence you are wasting your time. A company as large as TRU should have a decent online presence. I can't imagine it costs BBTS/TFSource much to have their GOOD online stores. Walmart is also primarily brick and mortar but their online store is decent as well. THERE IS NO EXCUSE.

Timezones mean nothing as well. TRU stated 9:00am EST. They put the items up at 4:00am EST. so how does that help your friend in Cali?

Yeah, and have you noticed how many MP's Walmart has carried since then?

Oh, and I guess no one had any issues finding MP Starscream, huh?

I once boycotted McDonald's because they stopped serving breakfast at 10:29am and the sign CLEARLY says 10:30am.

    Hah! Showed them!

I found three. And that's why Skywarp was so plentiful. Wal-Mart ordered a lot more of him after seeing how Starscream sold out. So, there's that...

Was Mp-10 really easily found at TRU in the beginning? I saw him a couple of times while Christmas shopping, but mainly because they had just restocked, and they were gone in minutes. I guess that's still better than Grimlock and Rodimus, which I never saw at all on shelves, or Walmart Starscream, which I had to actually import to get.

Maybe this one will be easier to get because for whatever reason, they didn't wait for the Xmas rush this time?
